Wife and I were here for a night during our East Coast road trip.
The hotel was centrally located and easy to find. It has a free underground private parking below which was nice. I didn't have to worry about the security of our car. It has a small café amenity area at the lobby for free snacks and drinks which we loved.
Our check in process was wonderful, we were given a very spacious room. One complain is that it has two sinks in two different rooms but only 1 bottle of hand soap. We kept the hand soap by the sink near the shower because it has more space. So no soap by the sink next to the toilet. Which after I've done my business at the toilet, I had to walk to a different room to wash my hands with soap instead of using the sink by the toilet. Just a small complain, no big deal in reality. The bed was clean and comfortable, just the right amount of firmness which is hard to find in asian hotels. Wifi worked great with VPN.
Teh hotel was located at a great location which is right next to the nightmarket for dinner. It was walking distance to the Forest Park and Railway Art village.
Overall we had a great night here for our stop on our beautiful East coast drive. We will be back.

Very luxurious hotel in the city centre for a good price. The room was very large and modern. Unfortunately the rooms were all accessed from an outside staircase and the doors had at least one inch of a gap to the bottom frame. So it could be noisy from the outside. Free parking in the building but the access was a bit unusual, as the lobby was on the 2nd floor and accessed from a different elevator/staircase from the street than the rooms. Good breakfast buffet.

We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 2 nights. We were surprised that the main entrance of the hotel is by the road side. We have to request for the luggage trolley and transport our 5 huge luggages on our own to the lobby at level 2. As a result, our first impression is not very good. We booked rooms 1002 and 1007. We especially love room 1007 as it is a suite and very spacious! Hotel staff is friendly and service is good but we don't understand why isn't there any bellman to help with the luggages. We were quite disappointed that the hotel do not provide any hand wash nor hand soap. The bathroom is huge and spacious, but there is no where to hang our 4 bath towels. Breakfast is reasonable and location is good. Will we return? Yes, if we can't find any better place.

Was on my family trip and we spent a night in Taitung. It may be odd that the drop off point is not obvious but that doesn’t discount much from my review. The lobby is at Level 2, welcomed by the friendly Staffs, shared with us the amenities, the chill out place with coffee, tea and snacks. They even have a nicely drawn map at the counter! We had the family suite, Super spacious and comfortable beds. Especially loved the view at the balcony near the elevator. We reached Taitung on Thursday and there’s no night market, too bad. We walked around the area and there’s many food options, Cosmed, bubble tea(yeahhhhhhh), McDonald’s, Watson’s... you won’t go to bed hungry, don’t worry. The breakfast is good! Spacious area at the basement for breakfast, especially love the minced pork rice(luroufan)! Highly recommended!

The Suites in Taitung have nice rooms but to have breakfast was not so enjoyable.
It was very cold in the restaurant with a temperature below 20 degrees and unfortunately they did not serve any fruit and it did not help to ask nice and friendly either.
But they provided a free transportation to the train station, so overall it was OK.

In a strategic location . Just five mins walk to the concert venue that I’m attending.
I’m not here for a holiday but just to attend a concert so didn’t expect anything much during my stay. I don’t see a mall here but there are McDonald’s and food places surrounding the hotel.
The hotel aside from having its own restaurant that serve breakfast , lunch and dinner till 10pm , it has a 24hrs comfy sitting area next to the reception which provides a coffee machine and tea sachets and snacks (complimentary).
The room is spacious and Super clean and bed is comfy too. I didn’t get a chance to eat the breakfast as my flight was Super early in the morning before I can try the breakfast as it’s included in the package price with stay. However the staff was so sweet that they packed bread and fruits for me and my new friends that I got to know at the concert who happens to stay same hotel and same flight as well.

Room is spacious but aircon couldn’t go down to under 23C was a pity as Taitung is very hot during this time of the year. Staff were friendly and helpful. They offer free train station/airport pick up with Land Rover which was very comfortable. Service was very good. But breakfast has very little selection and no cooking omelette or fried eggs on site. Overall I like this hotel but probably won’t go back again. If you don’t care about the breakfast and aircon you would enjoy this hotel no problem.

Air conditioning we will recommend to maintain at 25 degrees, there are scheduled rooms we will do the pre-cooling. Maybee you feel not enough, you can tell us, we can give more help. Breakfast must be changed, we have to decide. Anyway we wish you find those be better from your suggestion. Thank you!

The Suites is in a very good location right in the centre of Taitung, just a short walk from the night market, the railway garden and the main shopping streets.
Our reasonably priced (off-season) room was well designed - we liked the open hanging rail - with a harmonious colour scheme, a large shower and a bath, with separate toilet that included its own wash-basin. The large bed gave us a couple of excellent nights' sleep, despite feather pillows that I normally can't get along with.
The lobby is spacious and relaxing, with free tea and coffee, but lacks a bar (drinking alcohol is not really a Taiwanese habit). Breakfast was good, with Chinese and western options - it's waiter service off-peak. It's a shame, however, that you have to walk through the lobby and down a set of stairs (or a separate lift) to get to the restaurant.
All-in-all, a pleasant stay.

During a self-drive in Taiwan we booked our stay at The Suites Taitung online and enjoyed a lovely and caring welcome by Sharon at the reception, had a perfect room and relaxing time at the lobby reception cafeteria with free Taiwanese little treats for hotel guests.

New hotel, very clean. My room 801 was great suite with view on the city all around. Pity windows had been washed some years ago last time. What is called continental breakfast is more asiatic for 80%. Fruits and healthy fibers still lacking, no muesli. One day watermelon, next day pineapple, why not always serve both? Great coffee. Excellent bed and shower. Fitness is ridiculous. Position in city center is perfect.
