I've stay in Cho Hotel in November 2022. Hotel location is very central and close to MRT. Very nice concept and friendly environment. Hotel staff is very friendly. There are two improvement points: - We want early check in after long travel and hotel asked money. It is a great sadness to put money in front of customer satisfaction - There is a cleaning tag in the room and we put to door knob before leave. However learned that there is no room cleaning service. Better to inform during check in and remove the tag. Thanks Cho Hotel for hosting us.

Cho hotel is a beautiful hotel with a warm, homely vibe. Two cute dogs help to make all the guests feel welcome. The social area has a Nintendo mini with old school games which we loved playing while enjoying the complimentary snacks. The rooms are great, location is great. You won't find a nicer hotel in the area - close to the action but far away enough to feel like you can escape the chaos. Rainbow flag as soon as you walk into the foyer - this hotel is a safe space for LGBTQI. Thanks for everything cho hotel!

Loved this hotel so much. It is about a 10 minute walk to Ximen station. There are lots of neighborhood restaurants, convenience stores, bank and other stores nearby. The hotel is decorated in a quaint retro 50's furnishing, with limited facilities but the quality of furnishing in the rooms are excellent. They guaranteed good sleep with good bedding, pillows and bathroom furnishings. The room is limited in size and did not have room for luggage racks but everything else was great. They do not provide breakfast but has a lounge that where snacks, drinks and instant noodles can be accessed for free at any time. For us, the best part was the hotel staff in the reception. They were very friendly and helpful for all the questions and needs we had. They all spoke good English which made communication easy. I will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel as we had a terrific experience.

Cho hotel is an amazing place! I especially like the lounge area located on level 2: Childhood snacks, cup noodles, funky design, beverages and popcorn machine - everything looked amazing!
Service from the staff were top notch as well! I appreciate the personalized and friendly demeanor displayed from them! Everyone is helpful and will go an extra mile if required.
However, my biggest gripe for the stay would be the room. Despite the room looking very chic and fun, I did not rest as well as I hope to.
The air conditioning in the room was terrible. The room is constantly at 24-25 degrees (figures from the thermostat) despite me lowering the temperature to 20 degrees. This was still the case after a whole day out. I had to sleep with my portable handheld fan switched on for my entire 3 nights. Even after several attempts from the hotel staff, this issue persisted.
The bathroom is constantly humid. Despite having the ventilator in the bathroom, the humidity is so overwhelming that one will perspire shortly after showering. I cannot imagine anyone attempting to take a dip in the tub either.
In addition, mosquitoes were frequently found at level 2 lounge area.
I will return only if the air-con issue is resolved.

Mixture of quaint/eclectic/cozy accommodation. Warm and friendly reception. The 24 hrs complimentary bar/pantry area was well stocked with delectable morsels. Location-wise, conveniently near to Ximending precinct. Plenty of eateries nearby including their own cafe.

The room had to grow on me, it felt extremely small when we arrived. If you have big luggage, you have no place to store it. Toilet and shower were spacious and good and there was plenty of space next to the sink to but toiletries. Staff is very friendly and the vibe is nice. Location is great! Cho Taipei is awesome! Staff were super helpful, rooms really clean, fantastic location close to Ximen shopping district, plenty of eating places within an easy walk, This place is also genuinely enviro friendly and it shows in many ways. Not just lip service and token recycle bins like most places. Never expect english when i'm away from home but it was a huge help to me here. I'd totally recommend Cho Stay Taipei.

Quaint boutique hotel in the center of Ximending: location, location location. Very friendly staff, second floor lounge with snacks and non alcoholic drinks. Quaint room with all the facilities at hand. Not big but that is is what you get if you want to stay centrally located. Secure because you need your hotel room key card to get into the lobby and the elevator.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as just around 5 minutes walk from the MRT. The room is small but comfortable with wifi available in the room. They have a set of theme in this hotel which makes you very impressive. The staff are friendly and helpful and makes you feel like home and pleasant. The breakfast is ok with many choices. Definitely I will come here again next time.
