Stayed here whilst attending the Ampa show in April 2019. The hotel is 5 minutes by taxi or we took the free shuttle bus which ran daily , just be sure to grab a ticket for the bus the night before as it was full every day. A very clean and spacious hotel, simple and quick check in with friendly staff, a very large room and a bloody massive comfortable bed, good shower. There was a large buffet breakfast with a small selection of western food , but with also good omelette chef, some watermelon and good coffee that’s all I needed. The fitness room was good with a selection of cardio machines and free weights. I ate in the lounge / bar area one evening, beers and bar snacks all good. The hotel is very conveniently located to the convention centre however it is not very convenient to anything else, so no options for restuarants or bars or sightseeing. There is a small convenience store across the road which is handy but limited options. The hotel is clean, rooms big and has all basics, there is a basic restuarant at the hotel. Service was very good, friendly and helpful.

Found it conveniently located near the Taipei Nankang Exhibition center. A five minute taxi-ride without traffic. Very helpful to visit or when exhibiting at a commercial show there. The rooms are moderately large and comfortable. The hotel has two buildings or wings, the other is just a 3 minute walk away further down the main road.

I stayed at the Fushin Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan in December 2018. The stay was amazing! We were greeted by very friendly staff upon our check in. Our room was a corner room in which it provided more space for us. The amenities of the hotel are great as well. The breakfast buffet that was included in our price was great. The breakfast buffet was provided at the Delight restaurant which is on the third floor of the hotel. There is a hotel shuttle provided to the Nangang Exhibition MRT Station (less than a mile from the hotel). There is also another shuttle that is provided that goes to the nearby mall. The customer service displayed throughout our entire stay was impeccable! The staff went over and beyond in order to provide exemplary service! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for budget friendly travelers, as well as travelers that would love to get more for their money! I really, really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Thank you Fushin Hotel-Taipei for a wonderful stay during my trip last week for New Year’s Eve weekend! Transportation Tip: The way we traveled from the Taipei International Airport (TPE) was by airport shuttle to Nangang Exhibition Hall Station. As of December 2018, it was 140 TWD per person on the shared shuttle bus (approx. $4.50 USD). The ride was approximately one hour and 20 minutes (it may have been due to holiday traffic and/or weather). From the hotel to airport, we opted to try the hotel recommendation of taxi. They called the taxi for us. The cost was 1400 TWD ($45 USD) one way. The hotel has other recommendations of transportation depending on your preference. Metro/Subway-I recommend to utilize the MRT. We were able to take the complimentary hotel shuttle to the Nangang Exhibition Station and take the train to explore areas of the city beginning at 20 TWD (65 cents). The cost depends on the distance/location. It was easy to manage to get from one location to another by looking at the map. If you look ‘confused’ or unsure, there will probably be someone more than willing to assist! This was one of the friendliest cities I have visited! Was here for business during exhibition. Hotel is known for me since I visit it for several years now. Limited option for western food during breakfast but overall very pleased with level, service and hygiëne. Bit far from city center but transport possibilities are huge.

Although located slightly off the centre of tourist attraction, it is well connected by free shuttle bus to the nearest Nangang Metro. The free shuttle bus generally runs at 30 minutes interval. The free shuttle bus also provide free transport to nearby shopping malls. I stayed here for a week and found this hotel very comfortable as compared to usually tight, busy and noisy hotels in more popular areas of attraction. During the 7 nights stay at this hotel, I did not see a lot of other guests. The lobby is huge and spacious, so the comfort level is high. There are 4 main lifts serving this hotel and I never had to wait for more than 1 minutes during my entire stay. Super clean and well maintained. Staff are professional, courteous and friendly. Breakfast is sufficient but not a huge selection for westerners. Please note there is no nearby restaurants apart from the hotel's restaurants. Nearest place for restaurants would be the nearby malls, connected by shuttle bus. If you are Costco members, there is a huge Costco outlet short walk away. I had a disappointing stay in the Fushin. The hotel had been recommended to me but it was not the standard which I expected. The room was dark (it seemed like the bulbs were low watts) and didn't feel particularly clean. The air was a bit stale and had a smell of smoke. The hall had the same smell. The service was good from the staff at reception but overall I found this hotel to be average.

The only thing I can mention as a cons of my stay is that the hotel is far from down-town but if you want to go to Nangang exhibition center, it's potentially one of your few great choices! The rest was fine.
