VIP HOTEL is a budget hotel located near the downtown areas of Linsen North Road and Jinzhou Street in the Zhongshan District of Taipei City. It's in a slightly confusing location between two izakayas, and the front entrance is right behind the parking lot, so I got lost at first.
It's near Linsen North Road and Jinzhou Street, where many restaurants and izakayas are located, even in Taipei City.
The room was clean and had the basic facilities. The shower had plenty of water.
The room was small so not suitable for long stays, but it's good as a base for sightseeing in the city.

When I stay in Taipei, I often stay at this hotel because of its good location.
The rooms are well-cleaned and clean. It is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of MRT Zhongshan Elementary School Station. There are plenty of amenities. The night market is nearby, as well as a Welcome Supermarket, McDonald's, and a convenience store. It was my first time in Taipei in 3 years, and I was both nostalgic and impressed. As I recall, check-in is not 24 hours, and there is a curfew at 10pm, so you need to be careful about the time you leave. It is a safe and comfortable hotel. I stayed here on the last day of my solo trip and felt luxurious. It is a hotel I would like to stay at again.

There are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
The location is good, with a tapi shop nearby in the supermarket, drugstore, cafe and fast food, this is my second visit, but this time I made a triple room, there was a lot of dust.

This hotel is located within a small lane and it is very challenging to locate it especially at night. I have to walk into a dark and small lane before reaching the main entrance of the hotel. However, the small lane leads to the main road where many shops are located. I find it strange to build a hotel in between extremely small lanes and have the main entrance face a residential building which is so close I can see the TV programme the residents are watching. If I can see them, they can see me too ! I kept the curtain drawn throughout my stay. Also, the TV is placed inisde a specially designed partition with dark frame around it. If you are someone who is paranoid with hidden camera, this hotel may not suit you. The entrance to the toilet and shower room is through a door designed with the exact colour of the TV partition. When I first stepped into the room, I thought it was a room without toilet. It was when I saw the sign 'push' did I realise that there is a door next to the TV, giving me access to the toilet. The staff at the lobby was not helpful and was rather fierce. Wifi can only be accessed at the lobby with a log in password which will be given to you if you asked. When I asked, the staff did not even look at me and told me the password while staring at his document.

this hotel is definitely value for money. it was a last minute choice and we had very low expectations considering it was only a 2 star hotel but we were impressed with the size of the room, the decor and how clean our room was. it is also centrally located, about a 10 min walk from the nearest mrt station. the breakfast was decent and acceptable considering its a 2 star hotel. the only problem we had was during our second day, water ran out and by the time my mother used the shower, she had to wait a while for water to come out of the faucet. language can be a little problem but all the staff are very helpful and courteous.

I can not understand why this hotel is can run the business.
I have checked in this hotel on 15 April 2018. I can not stay until the morning because ..
1. The smell in this hotel is very bad.
2. The sound of room above my room is very loud like they fight with someone or something.
Two reasons are make me scare to stay in this room until the morning, then I hurry to checked out around 02:15 pm and find the new hotel.
PS. If you are finding the information or review of this hotel, please trust me. Every letter that I am writing here is really truth !!!

The hotel is located at a quite zone in Taipei but still near the MRT station (about 5 mins walking). You can find many restaurant and convenient store near by ( you might want to try delicious duck restaurant right opposite the hotel, only open from 6PM). The staff is friendly and helpful, they provided many useful information and always smile. Bed was really comfy.
Its quite cheap compares to other hotels so i didnt expect too much but the room was really old and damp. Old facilities with lack of natural light. AC was really strong even when you adjusted to 30 degree !? (so did the AC in the restaurant). Breakfast was ok but time for breakfast was only from 7.00 to 9.00 (you still need to wake up early in your holiday). We woke up late the first day and came for breakfast at 9.15 but they was cleaning at that time.

The hotel located in Taipei Business Area, where many office, shopping mall, restaurants and convenience stores are in walking distance. Only has 2 levels, in 13th and 14th floor of an office building. The check in process was quick and simple, and the staff was polite and helpful. We booked the Family Room with Premium View of the 101 Building. It was worth the price, the room was spacious, clean and new. The Bath room was clean and toiletries was from a well known brand.
On the table, they prepared us Taiwan's most well known brand of pineapple cake, that made my children really happy.
Coffee, tea, water, snacks were unlimited available from 6 am to 11 pm.
Overall it was a great stay, and my family was really enjoy it.

Cheap hotel. Maybe it's because it's a little old, but there's a storm at the window. The moment you enter the room, it smells like an old house. It's inside an alley, so taxis don't come easily.
