Superb location just off (free) A75 motorway by the Eiffel viaduct and overlloking the man-made lake. Welcoming reception from the proprietor (Anny?) traditional feel, with good size rooms with great views at the back. Restaurant open even on a Monday evening in November, but not the finest cuisine. Seems better than the other 2 hotels nearby, but did not check...

We stayed at the hotel recently on a beautiful, very warm evening after taking a 2 hour cruise on the nearby reservoir, which frankly was rather boring as there is no variety in the scenery and very little wildlife, though we did see a few buzzards and red kites lazily flying around. Our room was on the small side, though...

We stayed one night en route through France. The views were spectacular as the hotel was high above the river, but under the beautiful viaduct. The staff were welcoming and efficient and the room comfy. The highlight was eating in the restaurant with a fantastic view of the viaduct, lit in all its glory! Would definately stay here again.

The Hotel is perfect, clean good food and in a great spot -- but for me it was the service !! I left a jacket in the room on the morning of departure, and did not notice it until one week later I emailed and Annie Bigot arranged for its return to the UK at a low cost !!! very...

Very quiet part of France but very picturesque. Had a very nice meal in the restaurant - see other review. Staff very pleasant and patient with our...

Stayed 1 night in early September. The rooms were very good and clean. Dinner was excellent and the setting lovely. Breakfast was also very good with an excellent choice. My only problem was the sat nav did not know where to go. My advice would be to follow the signs for the Garabit Viaduct and you can’t miss the Hotel.

A well managed hotel. Owners were very attentive and on duty all day long. The food was excellent, if a bit dear. The garden was lovely to sit in and the views down to the river were stunning. Close to the motorway, so very convenient for an overnight stay for those travelling onward.

Have stayed here twice in the last 3 months and each time it was comfortable, clean and friendly. The location is stunning, next to the viaduct and is very easy to reach from the Autoroute( a perfect place to stay the night after landing in Caen in the early morning) Dinner at this time of year is very picturesque with...

This hotel is a great place to stay for a night. It is ideally situated next to an amazing bridge built by Mr. Eiffel. Beautiful metal structure used by the railway. The owners are present from morning till evening to offer you a nice service. The rooms have recently been renovated. The restaurant is a bit sophisticated. Service was lovely....

Nice hotel. Friendly welcome from the owners and staff. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Good food and great views of the valley or the old railway viaduct. Close to the A75 autoroute. We have stayed before and enjoyed it. But be aware that it is quite high up in the hills (2500ft) and can get quite chilly at night outside.
