was supposed to stay for a few nights but left after one. the owner completely verbally attacked myself and my partner over something she said the girl in ten office heard us saying!!! none of it was true and she just continued to snap and shout at in while people watched......I'd never go back she's a nightmare.

Just back home from a relaxing 10 night caravan holiday at Moat Farm. With the Wicklow Mountains National Park on the doorstep and only 1 hours drive from Dublin, what could be better? Excellent camp site with good showers/toilets, laundry, sitting room, campers kitchen ; all the facilities for a relaxing holiday. Good hard standings for caravans, plenty of grass...

This is a pretty, relaxed, peaceful, clean and well maintained site. We had a fantastic time here as a family with our friends. The kids had a great time playing on the rocks at the centre of the site and just running around being kids! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back!

I stayed here in August in order to go to the Hollywood Fair which, incidentally is a fantastic little annual festival and well worth attending if it coincides with your visit to Wicklow. We arrived at 7pm on a very wet and windy Friday evening. The reception was closed and we had to buzz the owner, Nuala, on the intercom...

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 8 year old daughter. The owner and girl manning the desk were very friendly on arrival, throughout our stay and on departure. The facilities were all clean and well kept and the showers were free. It is a very peaceful and tranquil spot, more for couples than families though. There is nothing...

Exactly what a camp site should be. Quiet, clean and level. Quiet village location, local pubs and convenient to local sites and tourist areas. The site offers level pitches for tents and hard standing for caravans.

Lovely laid out site with good views over the Irish countryside. We had a nice, level pitch with hard-standing, electricity & water. Really nice facilities with local information in a comfy sitting room. Owner, Nuala, is friendly and very helpful, knows the area well, suggested a good lunch pub in Hollywood. Access road is a bit tight but manageable, in...

“Don't use the free walking map!! There is a good OS map (also free) for Lugnaquillia Mountain which you may get a campsite reception or up at the army base warden service, seskin school, glen of imaal.”

“An excellent base for exploring the Wicklow area and round about. Also a homely wee community in Donard, with a nice pub (Toomey's) and a grand wee shop for food, etc. Although inland, Dublin is close and nearby Blessington is a good main centre - I must thank the lady optician there for repairing my specs for free!”
