Last minute decision to seek out a place other than a standard hotel resulted in probably one of the best mini vacations we could have imagined. Stop searching and book this B&B!!!!! Dario and Marie are such fantastic hosts! Arrived late but Marie was able to get us into one her favorite restaurants for dinner. Fantastic! Great advice on where...

We recently spent a few nights here earlier this month. It is considered "off season" we were the only guests! The owners Dario and Marie were so helpful. Marie was there the whole time and available to answer any questions we had and to help us book wine tours, etc. Such a lovely property and surroundings. I could only imagine...

My partner and I received a warm welcome! Wonderful location, food, conversation with our host Dario! Our room had a wonderful view, and was beautiful. We enjoyed every minute and yes will be back. Grazi Milo!! :)

I've stayed in a lot of small hotels and room 6 in this B&B is more like a dungeon than hotel room. Fortunately the owners are very friendly and the location is great, which made up a bit for the lack of sleep.

Thank you for your review. The morning after your first night after your feedback about the room, we immediately changed the room and also offered a complimentary dinner to be nice (even if it is the first bad review we have received since we have open and nobody ever complained about the room). You were satisfied about the new room...

We had 5 amazing days at San Gennaro Castello. Dario and his wife have impressive knowledge about the hidden secrets nearby and was more than willing to share their knowledge with us. The food, local wine and local olive oil was excellent. Thank you for your genuine hospitality, will definitely visit you again in the future.

Spent one night in this B&B is located on the top of a hill all surrounded by olive trees. It is pretty isolated but also close enough to be choosen to visit several interesting places like Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Abetone... In this recently renowed structure our room was wide and clean, same for the bathroom. Free...

This is the most amazing B&B we have ever stayed! The owners, Dario and Marie, are so warm, friendly and fun! It felt like we were staying at a family members home! On the first day we entered as strangers and by the end of the stay we left as friends! We took the cooking class and it was so...

Came to Toscana for a wedding in the summer of 2014 and had a great stay at San Gennaro. Beatiful scenery, spacious rooms, and great property owners. Can highly recommend a stay, I for one cannot wait to return.

We had always wanted to go to Italy, my wife had been before and desperately wanted me and our son to see it. Well we went last May, arriving in Tuscany in a freak heat wave (30-42 degrees). Upon arrival we were met by Dario, the owner. What a character! he was so welcoming and made us feel so special...

I was referred to this B&B by an online community member. First, the location. This B&B is nestled into the Tuscan hillside, high above Collodi. The village is quite small, but very quaint with cobblestone streets, walls, and homes. You can walk down to the main village of San Gennaro, or a longer walk to Collodi via a dirt path/road....
