On our trip around Donegal we stayed one night at the beautiful Caisleain Oir Hotel. Such a stunning location right on the seafront & such a beautiful hotel. Myself & my boyfriend were celebrating our anniversary & the GM had personally left us a beautiful congratulatory note with complementary Prosecco & snacks. It was so personal & touching & we... Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and amazing freshly cooked food, even breakfast is cooked to order. I was lucky enough to get a room overlooking the bay. Great base to explore County Donegal and the Wild Atlantic Way .

We arrived late Sunday evening when the kitchen was actually closed and we were welcomed by the most friendly young man who was able to get our order to the kitchen and assured us it was no problem! Pints of Guinness were divine after climbing mount errigal earlier and our food was good too. Crabclaws with chilli & garlic (could... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights from 25th April. Our room had a lovely sea view. It was very clean and warm with a comfortable massive bed. The breakfasts were delicious especially the home made wheaten bread! We had two evening meals in the hotel and both were excellent and of a high quality. The staff were... More

Stayed 1 night in this small but very comfortable nod very clean hotel. Staff were very friendly right from checking in until we left. Manager made recommendations of local places of interest to visit. We ate in the bar that night and quality of food was excellent and was promptly served with a smile. All staff passing our table asked... More

Would recommend anyone travelling in Donegal to visit the Caisleain Oir Hotel for one of the best feeds you will have in all of Ireland. Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and were given great service by the McDevitt family & their staff. Best battered fish and chips I have ever tasted.
