What an amazing experience! My wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding by having our reception at An Grianan Hotel on 8th April 2017. We paid a visit to the hotel back in May 2016. From the moment we met with Deirdre (wedding coordinator) we both felt so comfortable and assured that we had found the best...

We visited family in Donegal and stayed at the An Grianan for several days. The hotel has a lovely old world feel, yet is very modern and European in its amenities. The hotel has both a pub and a restaurant. The food in the pub was amazing!. One night I enjoyed a delicious seafood chowder made with fresh, locally sourced...

My husband and I eat here regularly and are always very happy with the food and service. The portions are ample and well presented and we are always sure of a warm welcome from Ben and the other waitresses who are a credit to this hotel. The staff are all very efficient at carrying out their duties. Always pleasant, friendly...

We got married in an Grianan on Easter Saturday and We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. After living in Australia for 5 years, we were very worried about organising our wedding from over seas, but there was never any issues. Emails and phone calls were always returned very promptly. My husbands family all traveled...

I estimate that I have now enjoyed a short break in An Grianan in excess of a dozen times. This fact surely indicates high recommendation. Key to the success of this hotel is the quality of interaction with the staff in all areas of activity. It is particularly lovely to be greeted by name on arrival and in the restaurant....

From start to finish we were more than pleased. Having stayed here with family on a number of occasions I decided this time to bring my elderly mum for a wee break. The room was perfect for her being on the ground floor. Also the bathroom facilities were excellent with safety grab rails and a separate detachable showerhead proved to...

Great location. Beautiful rooms. Chapel restaurant is cosy with an excellent menu favourite hotel / restaurant. The hotel is based on an old small chapel to which a modern but carefully designed hotel had been added. Bar snacks and a main restaurant a Cate for larger groups The smaller restaurant in the original chapel is idyllic.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay to celebrate a family wedding. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The wedding ran smoothly and the grounds were a beautiful spot for photos. The wedding breakfast was delicious . Indeed, all of the food over the weekend was delicious, especially dinner in The Old Church restaurant....

On Sunday my family and I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful hotel for Sunday lunch. We were first greeted by a friendly staff member (Max I think) who promptly took us to our table. Although the food was lovely with a vast array of homemade desserts which suited my sweet tooth, the highlight of the day was most...
