The hotel is good for cheap stay around the area, we stayed for one night on route, can’t fault for the price and which includes breakfast. Probably the cheapest prices we payed on our Malaysia trip, the service is average

Booked 2 connecting rooms for a night and the price was very cheap since i booked the rooms 2 weeks before the stay. The room was average but the toilet was not very clean. I saw ants around the coffee table. Quite frustrated with the breakfast. We came down around 9am but the breakfast was not enough for 4 of us. Just left a few. The receptionist told us that the breakfast will be served until 10am. But how come not even 10am, all food finished?

It is a grewt hotel with a nice view and all. But, an ala carte breakfast and no lift? The hotel needs to come up with an injection capital to refurbish this hotel to restore its former glory. However, the nice hospitality and gestures from the staff is something that one should notice the moment they step their feet in this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days for a course. First impression when I walk in is that the lobby not only does not have air conditioning, it does not even have proper ceiling fans to allow us to cool down. It is a 3-story building with no lift service, so if you bring many/big luggages you will have to carry it up the stairs yourself. Air cond in the room seems to be controlled centrally so when we first entered the room, it is warm but when we wake up in the morning it is too cold. We cannot change the settings. Bed and pillow is fine. Also 2 complimentary water bottles given daily. There is iron and ironing board. No safe available. No hairdryer available in room, requested from lobby but takes a long time to be delivered to room. The buffet meals provided by the hotel taste okay by my standards. The event hall is also well prepared, has good air conditioning. The only good part of the hotel is that I feel the staff are really warm and try to be helpful despite all the shortcomings. …
