During the day, it's like a cafe where people comes to grab some food. Owner is very friendly and cooks awesome breakfast for us. The place is very comfortable and decorated well. Will definitely return during the next visit.

Cafe's are popping right and left in Malaysia now and you have so many options right now that its like foodie heaven. In the small town of Kulim, nestled between old fruit trees and a large yard is Akar Lima. You will deel so at ease here as the setting is very relaxed and peacefull. They even have chickens and ducks as well as a variety of garden veggies next to the cafe. Far away to avoid the smell of course hahaha but near enough for you to check it out. Lets talk about food. The speciality is western cuisine with a local twist. They use 'ulam raja' and 'selom' instead of the usual ice cabbage to accompany the main dishes. Dont get me started with the cakes, pasteries and dricks which they make on their own. Have to check with their FB or Instagrams to know what desserts are being offered on that day. Definitely recomended ... honest .. i dont lie ..hahahha

Good encounter. I will definitely go back. The ambience is lovely. Nestled in an old kampung, it is worth checking out. I went there in the evening so I can't see much of the grounds but what I could see was nice.
