I am writing on behalf of my mother who visited recently with two friends. She was thoroughly delighted with the welcome and hospitality and said the hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. She enjoyed superb breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal too with 'very nice' wine! She will recommend you to everyone. Thanks

Sean & Teresa are perfect hosts. Our group was picked up at a Dublin Hotel near the airport & transported to the lodge. Sean was willing to stop at a nearby Tesco at our request to pick up items we had forgotten. They were very helpful in choosing our daily hike, loaned us the use of a cell for emergencies,...

There can be no better place to stay after a long day in the beautiful Wicklow hills. A roaring fire, a warm welcome from hosts Teresa and Sean, a delicious dinner and beautiful rooms to retire to make one quickly forget any aching muscles. If it's raining your wet gear is taken away and returned dry and warm the next...

Wonderful location though after a day of hiking arrange for pickup. The 1.5 km from Wicklow Way has some hills that tired legs would prefer to avoid. The rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. We had a bay window in the front to appreciate the view. Dinner was spectacular and included a bottle of wine. Breakfast was...

Despite the rain we were welcomed with a friendly face, a cosy fire and peace. The rooms were perfect with views of the cutest lambs right outside our window. Breakfast was hot and tasty. We even borrowed umbrellas knowing that a walk in the misty rain would be followed by a dry out by the fire and cup of tea....

The bathroom was very clean and towels very nice and soft. Shampoo, rinse and body wash provided. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was...

My partner and I stayed at Lough Dan House for two nights in early March and we had a fantastic experience. We were given a lovely warm welcome as soon as we arrived and this hospitality extended right to the end of our stay. Sean and Teresa were such lovely people that we really felt comfortable and at home straight...

This B&B has to be one of the hidden gems of Wicklow for many reasons. It's location in the picturesque Lough Dan area of Wicklow with beautiful scenery with a sense of simplistic rustic beauty with no traffic, no town or city noise or light pollution is just a pleasure to behold. The hosts, not only the owners Sean &...

**DISCLAIMER: WE HAVE NOT YET STAYED AT THE LOUGH DAN HOUSE ITSELF** We were hiking the Wicklow Way trail and had finished the trail for the night. We sat on the side of the road trying to read maps and figure out where our Airbnb for the night was located. We knew it would be far-ish away, but we didn't...
