Went here for a meal with my family celebrating results, food was nice no complaints about the food nothing overly exciting just average dinners but they were nice, they had ran out of some desserts which was disappointing but maybe that shows how busy and good they are? Staff are friendly however tiny bit slow at taking orders and attending...

Had my mothers 96th birthday lunch in Ballykealey Manor Hotel. On entering the reception we were met by Michael with Bellini on the house (which was a lovely unexpected touch). The staff were very friendly and couldn't have done enough for us throughout the day. The food was delicious and our table of 8 all had clean plates by the...

Spent 3 nights for a family wedding. Reception staff were offhand and unwelcoming, no tea making facility in the room, no shelf space in the bathroom, dreadful shower and ridiculously small bath towels. When the room hadn't been cleaned for two days on enquiry we were advised that we should have been told on checkin that rooms were only cleaned...

Before I start this review, From looking at all the recent negative 1 star reviews from the wedding in February my heart goes to the couple involved as it sounds like it was not a pleasant experience but it should be noted to all those thinking of Ballykealey that out of the 15 one star reviews on trip advisor, 8...

We had our wedding at ballykealey last weekend; I'm writing this review very quickly as I hope it will reassure other couples who are getting married at the venue in the coming weeks. I was very nervous in the run-up after reading a lot of recent negative reviews about one wedding a few months ago. My heart does break for...

Attended a friends wedding in February 2015. It was a total disaster, staff were very disorganised & the hotel was very cold. To make matters worst the electricity went in the middle of the meal. We were left sitting in front of cold soup bowls for nearly 2 hours! Staff were running around with no direction. Management just stood back...

I am sorry to see poor reviews for the hotel for a wedding before ours. We had our wedding here on the 21st March and I cannot fault the hotel on anything. The owner and staff were brilliant who really went the extra mile to make us and our guests feel welcome and make our day special. The food at...

To start with, over the year we were planning our wedding we had the joy of dealing with not just 1 wedding co-ordinator but...

We attended a wedding at ballykealy in Feb 2015 and I dint normally write reviews but felt I had to. When we arrived the greeting rooms were freezing cold and there was no one there to greet us. Then when we went down for dinner the reception room was so cold we had to leave our coats on. After the...
