this was a short notice booking which took the hosts by surprise. After a little delay our booking was located. Due to the short notice there was no heating on in the room we stayed however this was quickly rectified and within and few minutes the radiators were toasty. The room was nice and clean with a very nice ensuit bathroom. Shower was one of the best of the week. I am sure this place would be fantastic in season when you would have opportunity to taste their food etc. Very pleasant host who spoke a little english. Would definitely return.

We spent two nights here and loved the place. Comfortable bed, clean and well cared for room, gorgeous view of the Majella mountain, lovely pool and very friendly hosts. Breakfast was fine and dinner really very good indeed. The host, Gianni, provided the set menu both nights and it was fantastic food - antipasti, fresh pasta and delicious pork dish: all home cooked and superb. All in all we thoroughly recommend the hotel. We cycled a couple of road routes too and enjoyed the scenery/ countryside.

We have never stayed here but allow plenty of time to visit La Solagna and enjoy the highest standard of Abruzzese Sunday antipasti, followed by delicious pasta and more if you have room for it. Excellent, friendly service in beautiful surroundings. One of the very best in this area.
