This accommodation was actually a cottage as opposed to a caravan. It was of an extremely high standard situated in beautiful location. It was comfortable, clean and had amenities such as fridge, kettle, microwave, sink and laundry facilities on site. Emu's on site wandering freely and Parakeets in the trees. Highly recommend.

What a spectacular view! If you want to sit and look at the sea for hours this is a perfect spot at the entrance to kangaroo island ! Facilities are very basic not much of a camp kitchen just an indoor BBQ and two gas burners (that barely work) . We parked our rv and it had bad angles not...

We were in SA to visit the peninsula and first food break was to be at Cape Jervis. We drove past the Bistro Caravan Park to look at the ferry to K.I and the views. Then went back to the Bistro for lunch. We missed the entrance but as we turned around a skeleton carcase of a large kangaroo was...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, I can honestly say I didn't even notice the kangaroo carcass you mentioned otherwise I would have had it removed. I do remember you coming into the office, I was busy cooking at the time and was unable to stop and chat as I had to rescue what I was...

My husband and I recently stayed on a powered site, for 2 nights on our way to KI. We stayed by the olive trees & enjoyed our time. For those complaining of 'rubbish ' etc, this is a working farm! If you want different then don't stay there. The toilets were clean as were the showers, & I'll take that...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we were very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, as you said we do need the ""rubbish" lying around to use on the farm as well as the renovation program we are working on. Some of it is also relics from earlier days which seems a shame to just dump....

We stayed in a small, newly renovated cottage that was very clean and nice. Unfortunately too many birds were making too much noise early in the morning, otherwise we had a good nights sleep. It is a convenient place to stay if you have an early ferry to Kangaroo Island.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, unfortunately we can't do much about the birds as they are a protected species and they also drive us mad!!

We stayed on a powered site for 2 nights before going to Kangaroo Island. The sites are scrubby but have magnificent views of the island, to use the old fashion Aussie term " the place is a brothel" There is rubbish everywhere, an old truck, an old caravan, an old semi trailer, mounds of rubbish, most of it impairing the...

We were grateful for the nearness to the ferry when we returned from Kangaroo Island but that is the only thing to recommend it. Our room was homestead one. The name promised a cosy berth but what was delivered was comparable to a cheap motel with no room service and a threat of a $20 fine if the cups were...

As with most people we stayed here for one night before taking the ferry to Kangaroo Island. We stayed in the "Stables" which can best be described as an apartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Whilst everything was clean the windows lacked curtains/blinds, one door didn't have flyscreens and the other did but with holes. This was to...

A nice place to stop & relax whether you are heading to KI or from. There are powered sites & non-powered. A well equipped camp kitchen & views of the Island. The toilet/shower area needs a desperate upgrade.

We stayed in the shearers quarters on this once upon a time sheep station. We only stayed one night as we were going on the ferry to Kangaroo island early in the morning. The room was comfy and had the best shower of our entire 4 week trip. The room had a tv, heating and an electric blanket. Coffee and...
