We had intended to stay at Le Domaine, but they apparently closed for renovation or something and neglected to tell anyone. So in a panic, I was able to book at this hotel the week before Christmas. It was actually a good find for us.

Gettng there...
It is located on the northern end of Basse-Terre and only about 20-30 minutes away from the airport. The only confusing thing about the hotel is that is is about 50-100m set back from the road and the signs to get there were a little confuing about when to turn. Once we found it the first time we had no problem finding it again.

The rooms...
The rooms are actually small duplex cottages spread out in a spiral pattern around the pool. Ours was a one bedroom bungalow with a fridge, AC, closet, safe, and separate bathroom with a stand-up shower. The bed we had was at least queen sized and comfortable enough to sleep on.
