Easily the most beautiful and peaceful place I have stayed in. A wonderful home in an amazing setting, down a long track past a farm with breathtaking views. The house has lots of character and is clean and comfortable and is set in lovely gardens. Mark and Till are warm and welcoming hosts that make it feel a bit like...

The time we've been in the hotel made us feel part of the same family. The confort in the rooms were very good, with very nice views, the temperature inside the house was very comfortable also. A window to nature so close to the birds, rabbits and other wildlife you can spend hours enjoying their freedom.

Stayed here for the weekend of the British Touring Cars at Knockhill. Perfect location, close to the circuit and we really enjoyed the stay. Mark is a great host, the house is really peaceful and nicely furnished and guests are welcome to use the lounge, conservatory and kitchen. Great to have a plate of flapjacks and brownies always available! Wifi...

We stayed for two nights at Cherry Tree Lodge which we booked via Internet. We arrived at this 'set apart' guest house and found a very warm welcome and the most serene place we have ever stayed in. Our hosts were genuinely welcoming and tended to our every need yet ensured we were aware of their conservationist and well being...

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Mark and Till are lovely and interesting hosts, Mark makes a delicious breakfast and slice if you are lucky enough to have had him backing before your arrival! the views are breath taking. Everything is spotlessly clean, the bathrooms are very new, the beds are comfortable and it is a perfect location for...

My second visit, and it won't be may last, to the sanctuary that is Cherry tree lodge. The environment created by Mark and Till continues to grow on so many levels as they continue to develop their vision of a place where balance and harmony with nature and an individuals spiritual and physical needs are truly at the fore. This...

This fabulous establishment we found through TripAdvisor, and so glad we did! Mark and Till have created a very stylish, well-appointed and comfortable atmosphere with rooms decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with excellent, modern bathroom facilities. Guests have the run of the kitchen, the veranda, the lounge, and the sun room which has a magnificent vista across...

After reading the reviews and studying the pictures, a three evening booking was made and as you can see our stay was quickly extended. The pictures were 100% accurate and anybody thinking of making a booking should not hesitate...

Don't be put off by the journey to Cherry Tree Lodge which is reasonably close to the village of Saline. Even if you don't have a car you can get a train from Edinburgh to Dunfermline and a bus to Saline where either Mark or Till will collect you. The Lodge is delightful, beautifully appointed, cosy and warm. Mark cooks...

Just want to say thank you for your kind review. I think I know who you are but am not 100%. We always respond privately to reviewers but I don't have your contact details. It was an excellent weekend. Very sociable and thank you for contributing to that. Looking forward to seeing you again this year. Mark
