We stayed with Rosie for three days and loved the quiet, calm of the Spanish countryside. Rosie provides a fortifying breakfast to begin each day and will prepare dinner if you require. If you bring a rental car you can easily make day trips to Malaga on the Costa del Sol, Granada, Cordoba and Seville.

We had a really relaxing 4 nights at Casa Granadina. Breakfast every morning was a delight and Rosie was great company; we also had one of her evening meals which was superb. I loved the area and I would recommend the walk up to Comares, we could see for miles around. I would definitely recommend staying here, I didn't want...

After a long day of walking, we (a group of 8 enthousiastic ladies) arrived at Casa Granadina a little late. Rosie was already on the lookout, worried were we stayed. I think she may have heard us from afar. The reception was very warm and Rosie made us feel welcome from the first second. We immediately felt at ease, and...

An easy hour's drive from Malaga Airport, Casa Granadina is nestled down in a valley, in the unspoilt area of Axaquaria. It's an intriguing location - access to the house is by crossing a little ford. Surrounded by luscious lemon and orange groves, the accommodation is located in a beautiful setting. Its owner, Rosie, has thoughtfully renovated an old farmhouse,...

Staying just for one (long) weekend in Rosie's B&B "Casa Granadina" we promised ourselves (and Rosie) to come again as soon as possible. The lovely spot in the midst of beautiful Andalusian nature is even outperformed by the hospitality of its owner Rosie. From the B&B you can go your way: walking in beautiful nature or to another B&B, climbing...

Rosie's home provides an excellent base for a walking holidays in the Axarquia region of Andalucia. Located below the hill town of Comares, Casa Grandina, is a smallish, intimate house with a large garden. Rosie provides great food and warm hospitality and she appreciates how to help people's holidays go smoothly. For example, she provided lifts for us from the...

From the pick-up to the drop off, everything was so great. A friend and I rendevoused there, keen to catch up. We had great walks every day, a particularly challenging one climbing up to Comanares but well worth the effort. Back every afternoon to tea and delicious cake and a bit of time to read before a delicious dinner-local produce...

I stayed only one night at Casa Granadina with a friend, as part if a short trip to Spain. We were visiting bigger cities along the coast and I thought it might be nice to go somewhere a bit off the beaten path so we chose Casa Granadina. It was an excellent decision, and I wish I could have stayed...
