Our family of four spent 2 nights here and enjoyed our stay. 4 single beds in room, more room than expected. Good location, easy walk to Metropolitan Gov Building, and not that far to Shinjuku downtown and train station. We got breakfast across the road...More
I specifically made a booking for a quad room for 4 adults and 2 children in a single room. When I arrived they said the booking was for 4 people and wanted to charge a significant additional amount for each extra person. I don't know...More
The hotel is not easy to locate, being hidden by other buildings from the main road. But it is actually in a very good location. The nearest subway is just 5 min walk away, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Or you can walk 15...More

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

We booked through the Expedia website. We stayed in a quad room - it's small but clean. I think small rooms are the norm in Shinjuku/Tokyo. The hotel is in a safe area but if you're taking the subway it's about 8 blocks walk away. Also, the Shinjuku subway station is the busiest/largest subway station in the world - easy to get lost inside so do your research. HTH.
