Great hotel if you will stay in the area. There's a next door convenience store.

Rooms are a bit small but that's normal especially if your hotel is in the city.
Breakfast could be very busy and waking up early is highly suggested. When you asked for an extra pillow the one they will give you is way better than the regular pillow. I forgot what do they called it but it's seems like a special pillow.
What i like about them is they have soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in bathroom.

Cons
Carpet is dirty so better use their slippers.

Great location as hotel is located opposite the Hakata station.

The room was clean, quite bare and basic though it was old, It had an odd curve. Housekeeping was good and done daily. Bath essentials are provided in dispensers inside the bathroom.

Reception was English speaking and helpful. Checkin was fast and efficient on the self checkin machine.
Staff were excellent when we asked if they could help us freeze some food we bought. Seems like this is part of the temporary storage service provided by the Comfort Hotel.
Also, staff showed great initiative when we asked for information to go to the Marinoa Outlet mall, they googled and checked for information on transport and even printed out the map for us.
Great team work by the reception office team.

Breakfast was included and staff were welcoming and cheerful.

Overall a great stay. Dated rooms but the excellent staff made our stay great.

It's a Comfort hotel. Not much to say average I guess. Bed was comfortable, Room was clean. It is conveniently located across the road from Hakata City JR Station. It's infrastructure is pretty old. Which is surprising for a comfort inn. Only one keycard per room is a bit dated.

They have breakfast, but be prepared to wait. I just went downstairs saw the line, and decided to go to 7-11 which is in the same building.

Plus sides Staff spoke english, room was clean like i said bed's comfy. I am not that picky in regards to hotels so I can probably say safely i'd stay there again.

The view from my room was amazing.

Good hotel. Very close to the train station. Also there are several main car rental stores around this hotel. Make it a very good first stop after arriving Fukuoka. One thing worth mentioning is: the hotel provides free breakfast in the morning and drinks in the afternoon and evening. The only downside of the hotel is the room size. However, it is normal as other hotels in the downtown in Japan. I strongly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to visit Fukuoka.

Very near hakata station, very convenient and breakfast was good and comes with free drinks, cofee and tea in the lobby. Enjoyed the hotel very much.
Triples room was big enough for the family.

I loved that it is near 7-11, shopping mall and restaurants and everything in walking distance. Don't have to drag big suitcase very far. Ramen restaurants just below the hotel

I stayed there, because I planed to keep my baggage at the hotel and get it back after travel. But the hotel said it could not keep the baggage because of the power-out. So I put my baggage to coin locker in the station. Breakfast eating place is not the restaurant but only open lobby.

In the past 6 years I visited Japan over 30 times, and stayed in over 50 different hotels. I am afraid that I have to say, this is the worst hotel I had experienced in Japan, and I need to use the word "dirty" to describe it.

Location: is it 2 minutes walk from the Hakata Train Station, so good location if you take the train or bus to anywhere. If you arrive Fukuoka by flight, you can take the free shuttle bus from the International terminal bus platform 1 to the Deomestic terminal, and take subway (about 260 JPY) to Hakata Station, then walk to the hotel; or you can take a bus from the International terminal bus platform 2 directly to the Hakata station (also costs 260 JPY).

Check-in: the staffs seem to speak only limited English. One female spoke Japanese and Korean, but did not understand English. The check in time is 3pm, and the staffs insisted that I should show a printed booking document (I booked the hotel online, and I found it strange that the staffs could not track my booking record by my name).

Breakfast: the hotel provides complimentary breakfast for every guest although the quality is not good.

Room: I stayed in room 1162, it was in winter, and the air conditioning was out of order. I asked the staff to change a room for me, and they told me the hotel was fully booked. The bedding is very very very bad, only a piece of sheet and no duvet at all. I was freezing all over the night (unfortunately, because of the Chinese Latern Festival held in Nagasaki this week, all the hotels in Fukuoka and Nagasaki were fully booked, so I could not transfer to another hotel) , under my request, the staff only gave me a simple blacker--it was slippery and always fell off the bed. The room was old and dirty (it is the first time I use the word "dirty" in Japan). The washing basin was blocked, and the fridge echoed all over the night.

The Wi-Fi was with very poor quality.

I could not sleep at all.

The hotel has been renovated in early 2016. In fact, only 10f and 12f are refurbuished. The carpet on the corridor of other floors are very dirty indeed.
Location is perfect. Breakfast is adequate. Humidifier is quiet. I will definitely stay here again next time.

1/ Room was extremely outdated.
2/ Everything inside the room were dirty. Revolting stains on carpet and nightstand.
3/ There was no cool air conditioning inside the room. What came out from the air-con was warm air. Windows could not be opened. The room was extremely hot and the air was still. After complaining to the hotel staff, just a mini-fan was given to me which was almost useless.
4/ Lobby was the coolest place in which I feel more comfortable. Corridor was warm and hotel room was hot. How come ?
5/ Broken toilet seat and night stand lamp.

In conclusion:
1/ In my point of view, this could not be considered as a hotel.
2/ Poor dirty outdated room.
3/ Not worth the money.
4/ The only advantage is the location near Hakata Station, nothing more.
5/ If you do not have a tight budget, I would recommend you to live in Hotel Nikko Fukuoka just 30 seconds walk from Comfort Hotel. The former gives you a tremendous experience.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in mid August. The air con was weak in the room (but very strong in the lobby!); dirty carpet... poor breakfast (though it's free); the worst is, I never access wifi in the hotel!!! It claims that free wifi 24H available but I never be able to connect wifi. I asked front desk and they explained there were too many people using wifi with limited access points. This is really disappointed. Location is perfect, just opposite to the Hakata station but I will not choose to stay in this hotel again. I think renovation is needed.
