Lulworth Cove is literally just steps away. Quiet hotel, clean rooms and bathroom. Comfy beds. When you first enter the reception/breakfast room there is the lovely scent of wood from the two pretty tables used for seating. Delicious breakfast, the smoked haddock was a treat. Helpful, attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second self-guided holiday I'd taken in an HF Country House hotel - and it lived up to expectations gained from my stay in the previous Country House Hotel (Whitby). I can't see how anything could be improved! The food was plentiful and excellent, including a good vegetarian choice and superb packed lunch. The accommodation was superb, with...

I loved this place. Amazing nautical/seaside décor with great attention to every detail. Small and intimate, the ground floor is open plan with a dining area, a bar and a seating/lounge area. My bedroom (no.3) was a double room, again, very attractive décor and not at all like most characterless hotel rooms. Whole place spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and...

Arrived late and was telephoned on route to ensure someone was there when we arrived. Breakfast was more than adequate to set you up for a full day's activity. Loved the breakfast tables that make you interact with other guests! Not normally our thing. Staff were excellent, on hand when needed. Room was basic, bath and shower excellent but room...

A surprise night away booked by my husband for our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a lovely nights B&B stay at Lulworth Lodge. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was compact but clean and well decorated. We were slightly disappointed not to be able to eat an evening meal there but as we had not specified wanting an evening...

Nice place. Pleasant and good food (we did all inclusive). Pay the extra few quid to upgrade to premium room and ask for room 1. Best views in the lodge. Plenty of pre-planned walks available for guests use with distances and other details. All laminated and waterproof / hard-wearing.

I stayed for 1 week with HF Holidays. The location can't be beaten. My single room was comfortable and the shower was good. At night I could hear the sea! The evening meals were superb. Breakfasts were cooked to order and looked good. Very good coffee. I made a few comments to the manager when I left - minor gripes...

Had a lovely stay recently in this fantastic really clean and comfortable country lodge. Only small criticism is that it could do with more staff however the staff are very helpful. Special thankyou to Selina for making us feel so welcome. I will most definitely come back to this little gem of Dorset.

We stayed at Lulworth Lodge with our 7 year old boy for 2 nights. The Lodge is very tastefully decorated and the staff work hard to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! They catered very well for children. We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely return!

Having booked this just for one night I expected a B&B and it is of sorts but as it belongs to HF Holidays it feels a bit like a mix of small hotel and chalet. However, it has the perfect position just up from the Cove , parking is free in the main car park and its totally renovated with...
