We would first like to say that the owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The beds in our cottage were super comfortable, showers were good and there was a lot of space. The log fire was great and kept us all toasty warm. However, the main living area is looking quite tired and a little cluttered. The 3 bed...

A great experience from booking to check out. We were four families with eight children between us and we shared two houses right next to each other. Both houses were warm and cosy with plenty of room for the very excited kids to sleep and for the in need of a break parents to relax! We should have stayed for...

We had a great stay at Mountain View. Eileen and Stuart were brilliant hosts - very helpful and great to talk to. We stayed in the unit below their house and they were very considerate - we hardly heard them. The beds were comfy - our kids wanted to take them home! - and the unit was clean and tidy....

Me and my brother stayed two nights over a weekend. Eileen and Stuart were so welcoming and made sure that we were comfy and warm on the cool nights. Our beds were super comfy and the room had everything we needed down to salt and pepper shakers! And the room was very clean and well presented. I highly recommend Mountain...

I'm with Wal M on this one. The whole experience was not pleasant, from aged beds like hammocks and plates and cups stored under the bathroom basin (hygiene, anyone?) to the mysterious strong cooking smell that repeatedly pervaded my unit in my absence and the run down surroundings. Not to mention proprietors who don't seem to enjoy being in the...

Have to say that experience at that mountain view was most enjoyable. The service provided by the owners was extremely friendly and helpful nothing was a problem and there knowledge of the area was extensive. The room was cosy and comfortable with more than adequate heating provided for the cold climate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.

We booked the "2-bedroom self-contained flat" for $130 for two of us (though it sleeps 5). Upon arrival the room was freezing but there is a little heater in there which heated up the main bedroom (double bed + kitchenette) quite quickly. There were also electric blankets on the beds which were much appreciated! We didn't stay long because we...
