Big 5 Sibuya has more navigable river than any other game reserve in South Africa. The unique experience starts immediately with a 45 minute boat transfer from the village of Kenton-on-Sea to River or Forest Camp - luxury en-suite tented accommodation nestled in riverine forest and constructed in an environmentally conscious manner. Luxurious Bush Lodge, situated just outside the main Reserve in a pristine indigenous forested valley, is accessed the same way and then guests are transferred by game drive vehicle to the Lodge. All buffet-stlye meals & beverages are included - as are canoeing, fishing, swimming, birding etc. Add-on activities at a nominal extra rate include massages, horse riding on the beach and golf. An abundance of wildlife from Elephants to Otters and prolific bird life await you. Guests are hosted and guided by a team of experienced knowledgeable professionals who ensure a memorable personalised stay which will leave you saying 'Sibuya!' - 'We will return!'

My wife and I stayed at the Bush lodge as part of our honeymoon and I cannot praise the staff and everything we experienced enough. Here is a quick run down: Service- personalised and attentive. Nothing was ever too much, which at times was tricky because the team were so

We stayed at the Bush Lodge which is beautifully set amongst the trees. Really enjoyed getting to the camp by boat along the beautiful valley. The accommodation is excellent, food great, and staff fantastic without exception. Daniel our guide/ranger was a delight to be with,

Greetings 'Hillgrove' It's great to hear that you enjoyed the many different aspects that Sibuya has to offer - from the Ocean to the Bush by boat - paradise we think - & really feel passionate about sharing it! Dan will be thrilled at the personal mention - thank you for the kind words. Thankfully we've had some rain so the Reserve is tinged with a green flush - we're overjoyed & the animals are feasting again at last! The Wildebeest are dropping their comical awkward little babies - it's almost as if they were holding off until the rains... The name 'Sibuya' means 'We will return!' - so we look forward to welcoming you back & will do our utmost to find those elusive ellies for you next time - hopefully the magic will draw you back! Warm wishes from Carol, Dan & the 'Swing' at Bush Lodge.

Two scandinavian families (Norway/Europe). We spent the new years weekend at Bush Lodge. Amazing; facilities, service/welcome, adapted childrens needs, the science program and the new year`s celebration under the stars.

Greetings za2601 Thank you for taking the time to post a Review - we appreciate the support! The celebration under the stars at Olive View-site on Old Year's Eve was rather special - I was there too & thought it was a magical night! The fabulous clarity of the stars, the surrounding mystery of the bush, alive with the iconic sounds of the African night - Jackal, Nightjar & the distant roar of the Lions & of course accompanied by a glass of Bubbly to toast in 2019 - certainly a time to relax & make memories to last a life-time... We wish you a wonderful year & hope one day you'll return! Carol & the Bush Lodge Team.

Our party of 4 stayed for 3 nights in 2 lodges and loved every minute of it. The lodges are spacious and secluded - utterly peaceful with the odd jungle sounds in the background! Arrived by river in time for lunch then off early evening for first safari. Be prepared to adjust

Hi Jetmel It's so difficult to predict weather with Global Warming - here we are in the middle of winter & the temp is in the high 20s & predicted to plummet tonight down to 2 degrees & back to 20 plus tomorrow! All I can do is guestimate for October - Minimum of 15 & high of 27degrees.... My suggestion is that you have a warm jacket & perhaps a cap/beanie on hand - we do have fleece ponchos & blankets available for guests' use on game drives so you can wrap up if need be. Beanies & caps are also on sale in our little shop if you would like to buy souvenir items when here. I hope I've been helpful. We look forward to welcoming you! Best wishes, Carol.
