Great place to disconnect with the normal day to day rhythm, and reconnect with nature, food and slow down the mind. Luna di Quarazzana is quite isolated, so I wouldn´t recommend it to someone who is looking to visit the most popular Tuscany spots. However, Quarazzana is close to many different cultural and gastro spots such as Cormezzano (cheeses), Apuane...

What an amazing story. A small hamlet near Fivizzano in Lunigiana. Ilaria and her husband have lovely restored an old farmhouse and parts of the village to create a small outcrop of luxury and fine Italian fare. A gorgeous vegetable and fruit garden all bursting with fine plums, tomatoes, apples and may more.

A lovely spot with a stunning view overlooking the hills and mountains, a lovely owner, lovely food made with fresh ingredients from the garden... What can I say. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Our family spent four perfect and lovely days here -- strolling around the abandoned village, taking in the gorgeous views of the mountains, hiking, and just relaxing in this most tranquil of settings. And the food! Our daughter has some serious food allergies, and Chef Leonardo was diligent about avoiding those foods and crafting spectacular dinners that were as beautiful...

After a 6 hour journey we arrived to find we were just in time for dinner, & what a dinner it was! Ilaria & Stefano cook with fresh ingredients from their garden & everything is simplicity yet perfection. Sweet onion frittata, creamy spinach soufflé, thin slices of her father's sheep's milk cheese, delicate ricotta with Lunigiana honey ... We stayed...

What can make a place can be the hosts. Ilaria and Stefano are such a lovely people and welcome you into their home. There is a respect for the history of the property and this is maintained as well as creature comforts to make your stay all the more pleasant. We had been to the big cities and the idea...

My fiancé and I stayed at La Luna di Quarazzana for four nights of an 18 day road trip through Tuscany and without a doubt this was the highlight of the trip for us. In the shadow of giant marble mountains, a 15 minute drive from the town of Fivizzano, sits a tiny old stone village, long deserted by it's...

from the very moment we arrived we felt at peace and could immediately relax and enjoy the place and the nature around us. We had a beautiful room, and lying in the bed we could see the mountains through the window. That made the start in the day extraordinary:) We ony stayed one night, but obviously one should stay longer,...

I have been at Illaria´s house very recently with my two best girlfriends during our visit to tuscany! We had no car, so to be honest for one night stay was not the best choice as we couldn´t move much around, and it was a long way from Florence to the nearest train station , and expensive from the train...
