Stayed in Seawall Campground 2 nights in late June 2016 with 30' rental RV. Pleasant pull-through site, quiet area, but no hookups or showers. Clean restrooms. Dump station. Satisfactory for a short stay, not so much for multiple days, and worse so if you're not...More

I visited in July of 2016, and I would say that it was a nice place, but was lacking in some key areas. I've stayed at state forests or parks in Massachusetts or Connecticut, and they have things like soap for the bathrooms, and shower...More

Just a question about camping here in general...I've read a few reviews on other sites from campers who were disappointed saying there was heavy fog while they were there even during July/August. We're planning a trip there in July but were concerned about this. I would think the rainy months (April, May) would be more prone to fog issues. Have those of you who visited in July experienced this? (I know there are no guarantees with camping weather, but just want to play the odds).

Can someone recommend a tasty fish/lobster restaurant not too far from Seawall campground? Or a place to have breakfast? We don't want to drive too far down the road after a long day. Thank you!
