This is a great campground with small children. Plenty of room to ride bikes and explore. Restroom facilities are close at hand. The staff and Rangers were very family oriented, taking time to converse with our small explorers. Bus stop is a short and convenient...More

This was our second trip to Acadia but our first time staying at Seawall. Totally worth having to book it months in advance. Stayed in the "C" loop with a pop-up camper (no electrical or water hook-up). Only downside was no on-site showers but there...More

Great 4 night stay with travel trailer. Sites are pull through which makes getting in/out much easier. No hook-ups which is not a huge deal with some planning. Fresh water was easily accessible to refill as needed. If you travel without full water tanks it...More

We have this morning sadly checked out of Seawall after 3 nights tent camping with two kids (6 and 9) and a puppy (5 months!). We stayed in a walk in site, booked last minute, and the whole experience required a leap of faith -...More

Just a question about camping here in general...I've read a few reviews on other sites from campers who were disappointed saying there was heavy fog while they were there even during July/August. We're planning a trip there in July but were concerned about this. I would think the rainy months (April, May) would be more prone to fog issues. Have those of you who visited in July experienced this? (I know there are no guarantees with camping weather, but just want to play the odds).
