A gorgeously situated campground with everything you need. Amber and Caleb are very personable and hardworking! We are sorry it is for sale...The showers are clean and have great pressure; Caleb's cooking at the store was excellent.

Needles Outpost was the highlight of our ten-day, Spring Break road trip from Seattle around the Grand Canyon, and back. Having the kids and dog in tow, and having never traveled in the southwest before, we booked at Needles Outpost because they had reservations available...More

The new management at the outpost was so warm and helpful! They were lovely to talk with and offered great service. I really enjoyed stopping by! And we really appreciated their milk shakes after our long, warm hike. Hope I get to return again!

There has been a wealth of negative history about the Outpost Campground. But that has changed with the current ownership and under the management of a friendly young couple, Caleb and Amber. This is a private campground, 1.5 miles from Canyonlands National Park. Canyonlands campgrounds...More

This is a campground just outside of The Needles District Canyonlands Nat. Park. Weeds were so thick we had to use a rake to clear an area for our tent. Bathroom was dirty. Whole facility needs updating. However, there was a great view of the...More

Hi! We're trying to find out if the (newly re-opened) Needles Outpost accepts tent camping reservations and, if so, how to make one. We're also wondering if the Outpost is open year-round or has specific start & end dates to its season. Any details and/or contact info would be appreciated. The phones number listed on Yelp and other pages is incorrect -- or at least I was told I had the wrong number when I called (435- 979-4007). Thank you!
