This campground in Death Valley National Park is about an hour's drive north of Furnace Creek. That makes it a bit remote and quite far from most of the popular sights in the park. But, unlike other campgrounds near Furnace Creek and Stovepipe Wells, this...More

We scouted a site ahead and I managed to get a 45' diesel pusher in there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Backed it right up close to the edge of the draw. We had plenty of room with tons of space between campsites. We barely...More

We stayed here the week of april 10th, spring break for many. We arrived sunday afternoon around 4pm and had a great choice of first-come sites. The campground is about an hour from most sites in the park, but the campsites are much more spacious...More

There is no cell phone reception, but there is a pay phone a few miles away at the unmanned ranger station near Scotty's Castle. The closest gas station is about 25 miles away at Stovepipe Wells.

You cannot make reservations at this campground. It is open all year, and it is first come, first serve.
