Booked a room in the two story lodge ... Overlooked (partially) the river which was nice and had a little deck, but had to lug the bags up quite a few stairs. Would try to get in a cabin next time ( the ones we wanted were fully booked) as they looked lovely with deck chairs sitting out on the...

Four of us (2 adults + 2 children) stay in their chalet for 2 nights and it was much more than expected. The chalet was cosy, clean and could acomodate 6 people. Great kitchen, coffee, sugar and a coffee machine provided. Bathroom amenities as well. The cafe on the same property serves one of the best meals in town. On...

Stayed only one night before heading off to Denali Wilderness Park. The cabin was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The big surprise was the quality of the food in the café. To this day it was the best tasting salmon we had together with the guinness beef pie. All home made and all very very delicious. Followed...

The McKinley Creekside Cabin was the perfect place from which to visit Denali National Park. Our cabin was right beside the creek and had a small porch with a table and chairs. We also enjoyed eating at their café -- good food and reasonable prices. The staff was helpful with suggestions and very positive. We were only a few miles...

We stayed there the last night they were open for business, everything between Takeetna and Fairbanks shuts down for the winter around the second week of September. That means lodging, food, even Subway, and shops. The only thing open in Denali after that are the gas stations and the one lodge operated by Princess cruises. The cabins are very bare...

We stayed 2 nights at the McKinley Creekside Cabins. The cabin had 2 beds, a little bathroom and a cute little deck. The area around it was full of pretty flowers and we had a swing almost outside our door. The cabin itself was rustic but had all the modern conveniences as well as a terrific heating system. The parking...

We stayed for 3 nights and it as fine! Wish they would have woken us up for the Aurora-- we missed it on a very clear night! Clean and comfy! Good food at their restaurant too! The Thai food truck down the street had amazing food! We did the private bus tour thru Alaska Denali Travel and Linda was a...

My husband and I and our 4 kids enjoyed 2 fabulous nights here. We had one of the larger rooms with the 3 queen beds. The 3rd bed wasn't as nice (and maybe not a full size queen mattress) as the other 2 but our younger two slept there and they were fine. The mattress for all were nice and...

Charming cabins away for all the craziness right outside the park. It's an easy drive to the park. The staff at McKinley Cabins was friendly and happy. The on-site restaurant has excellent meals and baked goods. The packed lunch we got from them was perfect. We sat by the river in the evening, so beautiful. We loved it here and...

We stayed in one of the king rooms - not a cabin. I booked about 4 months out and all of the Creekside cabins were already booked so book early! The room was very comfortable with a kind bed, small table with 2 chairs, dresser, side chair as well as a microwave, fridge and coffee pot. The staff was very...
