We drove 7+ hours to reach this park inside the Grand Canyon. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of trees around us. The spots are somewhat left to their natural state-more gravel than grass, too. Despite that, we enjoyed our spot, as we were near the end of the park and faced a lot of trees. We had full... More

Nice park for adults. No activities for children in the campground. Clean. Elk and deer visit in the evening and graze on grass and trees. Near groceries and shuttle. Full hookups. Quiet and relaxing. Picnic tables could be updated.

That the place you must go even you catch a Rv campground. The park Shuttle stop is just behind the entrance and the place for the RV is big enough for a bigger than 30 feet. The fee is not so expensive because our are inside the park and you can go everywhere by foot or shuttle.

We weren't sure what to expect at the Canyon so we took a chance on this RV park. We booked the day before and were surprised we got a spot for 2 nights. We loved that the free shuttle bus picked us up right from the campground and took us all over the park. The site was almost level and... More

Everything worked, no unpleasant smells. Perhaps it might have more trees like in the pictures. There is no public WiFi, and only Verizon works in the Grand Canyon, so you will not have Internet access unless you have Verizon.

Nice place to sleep. Each RV has his own picnic table. There are connections for electricity, water and waste dumping. Now and then you can have a visit of an animal next to your RV. Very quiet place. Waking up in the nature! Great right? 🍃🍃🍃

Didn't visit the other parks available because this was the only one to offer full hookups but it was a lovely area. Staff was very friendly and we'll trained in customer care. The sites were close but there are trees. A female Elk actually visited our site for a snack around dusk, what a treat for us! The campground is... More

Stayed there the first week of August...This RV park is very old with it seems to also have a section of real old rundown trailers as permanent residence..not a pretty site..but you don't have a lot of choices at the south rim for a big rig. The free shuttle bus system is a great way to get to anywhere in... More

Let me preface this review by saying that you don't book this RV Park for their amenities, but simply for its LOCATION! If you are looking for a resort quality campground, this is not the place. If you are looking for a place to stay inside the park with full hook-ups, convenient walk to breathtaking views and transportation and a... More

Great location for a site with electricity - within walking/hiking distance to much of the canyon. We saw elk right in the camp. The sites are not great, somewhat close together, but well organized. The one drawback is the 1/2 mile walk to the showers. The pay showers are located down the road near Mather Campground. They're fine. From the... More
