Staff were so very nice, friendly, and helpful!!! Just didn't realize how far the rooms were from the actual lodge! May look at the other places next time. Other than that it was great! Cafeteria was good and prices were reasonable. Pizza place was just ok.

Took the train from Williams, and spent the night at the Maswik Lodge. The clerks at check in knew we were traveling by train, and our rooms were a lengthy walk from the lobby (maybe because rooms were paid for bar Grand Canyon RR)and any restaurants. The beds were too soft, and the sheets on the bed looked like they...

We've stayed in Bright Angel, Powell, in the Cabins, and I've always felt a little snobby about these more modern (less historic) rooms, but after four nights in Maswik my nose is no longer in the air. We were comfortable, had lots of room to move around and spread out, and our only gripe is that the bed was not...

We enjoyed staying in the Maswik Lodge which is inside the park. The location was great, the blue shuttle stops right outside the lobby and the red shuttle stop was a short walk. We found the rooms clean, shower hot and the shampoo and soap were plentiful in large bottles/pump style. We ate at the cafeteria several times, had one...

Ideal for an overnight close to the South Rim. Lodge rooms perhaps a bit basic but clean and comfortable, more than adequate, and with so much to do and see nearby you'll only spend the minimum time in the room anyway. Dining/food good.

The location in the Grand Canyon Village is great and the room was vey clean, but....the water pressure in the sink and shower was very low; the WiFi was very, very slow; we were on the first floor and could easily hear footsteps in the room above. Okay I get it that it is in a fairly remote area and...

We choose this lodge because we wanted to stay inside the park, and this was the only one with availability, even though we booked six months in advance of our October trip. We were in a lower level corner room. Although I would not want to stay here for an entire week, our room was clean and comfortable, and good...

Remember you do not go to the Grand Canyon for a luxury vacation and you will not spend a ton of time in your room. This hotel is clean with large rooms in a natural setting. It's a little further from the South Rim than the other options but that's part of it's charm, and it's really not far at...

We had a bumpy start as we arrived after dark and could not find the registration area - signage is definitely lacking. After driving around a while, we finally found the entrace. Staff was courteous and efficient. Our room was small and dated, although it was in the "North" section which is supposed to be newer. There were only two...

We have stayed at many national park lodges across the nation to include the El Tovar at the Grand Canyon. While the Maswik lodge is dated and in need of renovation, for the price it is a good alternative. It was clean and less than half the price of the El Tovar. It was a short 5 minute walk to...
