We stayed in an East room in Building 6, which is the farthest from the Yavapai Lodge restaurant and the Market. Room was very clean and comfortable. I think West rooms are generally closer to the restaurant and market and the shuttle stop. Ample parking. Short shuttle ride to the rim at Bright Angel.

We are a family of five and most of our bookings have been one room for us and another for our kids. This time I decided to book the Yavapai East Double Queen family room as it looked perfect. For a moderate price the accommodation was excellent, breakfast was included for all of us - more than we could finish...

We stayed in the newest area of Yavapai lodge in building 6 facing the woods. We've stayed in some of the nicest hotels in the world and we had no complaints about this hotel. It is what it is, and it's not that bad. You aren't going to the Grand Canyon to sit in your room! Our room was a...

The lodge only has WiFi in the main lobby. To visit the main lobby from the guest rooms, one needs to walk for 3~5 minutes on a trail with no lights at all. Be prepared to embrace the feeling of darkness! The room was clean, and that was all. The water from toilet and bath was yellow. So be cautious...

I loved being inside the National Park. The proximity within the park, including access to shuttles was the high point. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. While the room was showing its age, it was a decent size and clean. The major negative was that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night...

The Yavapai was much better than expected-- very clean no smoking and comfortable beds. There is no wifi nor cel service in much of the park especially where this hotel is located so make plans in advance with your friends! The night we stayed was pretty cold at 30 degrees so the heater had to be used and was extremely...

Happy with the location, 5 minute walk to Mather Point on a paved path from our room. Slight musky smell in the room, no air conditioning and the overhead fan was broke. We called the front desk and we will give big kudos to the service staff for not only their responsiveness but very courteous as well. Staff would be...

I had read some terrible reviews about this hotel but was pleasantly surprised with our stay there. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Yes I agree the WiFi there is awful and only in the lobby. Also the cell service there and around the Grand Canyon in general is limited. However, you shouldn't go to a...

The location of the rooms within the Grand Canyon NP are very convenient - close to the general store and blue line shuttle stops for easy access to the rest of the village. The rooms are potentially a few steps above camping, as in there's running water, electricity, and a tv (though ours stopped working both nights we stayed), and...

We went on a trip to Grand Canyon and stayed at Yavapai Lodge for 2 nights March 17-18, 2017 and I cant say enough nice things about the room. We had reserved a 2 queen bd room and the one we got was on the 2nd floor I got a hotels.com discount which brought down the room rates a little...
