The hotel within the park makes it an ideal location. It’s right on the market place! Ideal. Staff is very courteous and warm and welcoming. The rooms were great. The attached restaurant served fresh and excellent food. Recommended highly for family and single visit

Hike down into the Canyon! Use sticks for support as some places are slick with gravel. Gives an entirely different perspective of the canyon. Hike South Kaibab to Ooh Aah Point ( 0.9 miles down.). Take lots of water. If this is too much at least take an easy walk a couple hundred yards down Bright Angel Trail to where it tunnels through the rock.
