What a great hiking adventure! Eleven of us ventured up to the Lodge and shared one of the three BR cabins. It was basic and rustic just as advertised...and it was great! Tight and cozy even for a three bedroom cabin. The staff was friendly, helpful and hustled like crazy serving our meals. The dinner was especially filling with plenty...

After hearing from numerous friends over the years about LeConte, I was able to secure, after hundreds of phone calls the day reservations opened up, a Saturday night stay in a 2-bedroom lodge for myself and 6 girlfriends. Though nervous for over a year about the weather in mid-November, we found ourselves extremely lucky to have had beautiful weather and...

INCREDIBLE! I was worried about our trip to Leconte (like you would worry about a trip up a hiking trail you never climbed, on a mountain you'd never heard of, to a destination you've never been to!) but it surpassed ALL of my expectations! The staff at Leconte was TOP NOTCH. My husband has a gluten and dairy allergy, and...

We visited for two nights in August 2016. It was my husband and I plus our kids ages 10 and 12. While we are fit and active people, we did not train or prepare extra for the hike. It was fine, but as all other reviews state, it was strenuous! We took the Trillium Gap Trail due to Alum's weekday...

5th visit. Hiked from Newfound Gap up Boulevard Trail 8 miles up and down to summit. Stayed in small cabin and enjoyed to solitude and ambiance rustic as it was. Love the sleeping and the big, filling meals. Weather is a constant - always changing and quickly. Be prepared

After years of lottery and waitlist requests, finally got a one-night reservation on short notice. This hike/stay was on my bucket list and honestly I had mixed reactions to various facets of the experience... I am appreciative of the opportunity to complete this item but continue to be frustrated by the lack of availability to non-locals (we travelled over 900...

As usual, the most beautiful hike with breathtaking scenery. I was however, very disappointed in the service this year. I specifically wanted the weekend of Halloween to enjoy the festivities of the season with the crew. Nothing was done and the interaction for the staff was minimal. I have made this hike every fall for the last 5 years, although...

I just stayed here for one night earlier this week. Some of us in the group have done this each year for many years. Location atop Le Conte best of planet. You have to get reservations a year ahead of time. We stayed in cabin 10 which, like all the rest of the lodge, is rustic but what you need....

The Lodge at Mount LeConte is a singularly unique experience. First, as you probably know if you are reading this review, it is located at the top of Mt. LeConte, the 4th highest peak in the eastern United States. It is hard to get reservations, and is accessible only via a strenuous 4 hour hike (at a minimum). And once...

On October 1, we hiked up Alum Cave and spent the afternoon at the lodge. The staff was so friendly, and he had such a fun time. You are able to purchase a sack lunch, and also coffee or hot chocolate in the dining hall (we didn't know this, and missed out.) The lodge is beautiful, and we can't wait...
