Room was nice and warm, rustic. Exactly what you'd expect from a cabin. Communal showers. Water could have been a little warmer. It also would have been nice if there was a kettle in the room. The room looked clean and did not have a smell. They had towels and soap available and provided us with tokens for one shower...

Absolutely loved visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Our Grant Grove cabin was better than expected. Cozy warm and comfy beds. We enjoyed having a fire in the outdoor wood burning stove.

One of the best places to stay if you are in KCNP. the front desk staff are really considerate, we had an emergency and Ms Susan of the front desk helped coordinate with 911, Park Rangers to get help. Really appreciate their timely help.

Check-in and check-out were easy. The cabin was very clean and tidy, as were the public restroom facilities. It's great, you get to stay in a national park, but indoors! The only disappointing thing was the restaurant -- the staff were very slow and seemed unmotivated to do a good job.

The location of grand grove cabins are excellent! Especially during winter when the snow are covering the road. It's very easy to get to and within walking distance to visit General Grant Tree! Heated cabin warms your heart at cold night! My family would love to go back again and again!!

Beautifuk surroudings. Great esperience. must see area. Cabins are good, but not luxury accomodations. They are old and rundown, dated. but clean and comfortable. Food in cafe was inexpensive and OK. Looked and tasted like prepared food heated up to serve, but they are building a new resturant and hopefully it will be better.

We stayed two nights in one of the cabins with private bathroom. Very basic and dated accommodation, with 2 double beds and newer heaters in the room and bath. There was a coffee maker but no fridge. Small tubes of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion were provided. No TV, phone, nor was it within wifi range of John...

Nice affordable lodging in the big trees. We really enjoyed our cabin and the time at the National park. Lots of hiking trails right out the doorstep. Snow was not deep enough to ski at Grant Grove, but there was abundant snow at Montecito ski resort just 8 miles up the road along General's Highway.

The Grant Grove cabins are a great base for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We booked a four birth cabin (for the two of us) and we found it simple but comfortable. It did get extremely cold at night, so we were grateful for the additional blankets on the spare bed! The grounds in which the cabins lay...

These look like buildings out of a fairy tale with the rough-hewn logs and front porch with rocking chairs. Cabin was old and simply furnished but the price is reasonable and setting incredible. We stayed in cabin with double beds and bathroom attached. Even in June, it was cool at night so glad to be indoors. Food options are limited...
