We stayed at Azalea the beginning of April. There was still snow and much of the campground was still closed. We arrived before noon and found two spots perfect for our 29' RV's. The campground was walking distance from both the Visitor Center and the...More

Site 64.... big rocks, trees, no one behind us except a gorgeous sunset. Nice tent spot. I agree with all the previous positive reviews. Love National Parks and this campground in October is super. Some good spots for small RVs and tents.

Pick your own spot for tent or RV camping for budget price. Some spots more level than others. Peaceful and beautiful among the trees. Bathroom facilities (no shower) are clean. Fire rings available. Heed cautions about bears. Close to in-park market.

I thought this campground was great. Went on a non-holiday weekend, and was able to find a site at around 11:30 a.m. if we had gotten there a couple hrs later, we orobably wouldnt have found a site. We had plenty of shade. We went...More

Hello everyone! We're thinking about going to Sequoia April 14-16. Just want to know a few things to make sure we have the perfect experience: -Will the campground be open? -Is there cellphone service? -Attractions near the campground? Thanks !

We went the beginning of April, so much of the campground was still closed due to snow. I would recommend arriving before noon to get a spot. Many of the spots are not great for RV's. We have a 29 foot RV and had no problem... More
