Not the fancy hotel, but a very comfortable and affordable place to go when visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia Park. You have the hotel place sharing with cabin and tent spots around. People over there are really nice and caring.

Not a lot of amenities, but perfect to rest your head at night. Location great for getting around Sequoia. Convenient to have visitors center, market, post office and restaurant within walking distance. No Air Conditioning, but didn't need it with the fan and cool evening temps! Perfect sleeping weather

This is a great location within the park, easy access to many areas. The rocking chairs on the deck are great for relaxing after a day of seeing the park. We saw a deer walk by while sitting there our first night!

The John Muir lodge is in a great location in Kings Canyon. Don't expect a whole lot from this place. You'll get a nice room and a bed. The bathroom however needs some help or at least some good cleaning. No AC in the rooms and they don't mention that on their website. In the summer, if you're out hiking...

My family and I stayed here during peak season in July. The lodge rooms were updated and comfortable. Each room had a mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker. At the end of the hallway was a big balcony with rocking chairs. On the main level was a big common room with fireplace, couches, tables, and board games as well as...

Clean quiet and friendly people! Close to hiking. Take a trip to Panorama Point. Check out the Grant tree. Room was clean. Big 42 inch TV but why? We saw deer, raccoons, and other wild life. We can hardly wait to go back again.

My wife and I stayed here two nights in June. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and serviced daily. You could walk to a nice restaurant, grocery store and visitor center in the village. Close by is Grant Grove where you can look at giant sequoia trees, also it is about a one hour drive to Zumwalt Meadow in...

While researching where to stay in King's Canyon, this was actually my number 2 choice. I am SO glad the Wuksachi Lodge was full and would definitely recommend staying here as my number one choice! (We stopped at the Wuksachi for lunch one day and found the employees to be rude and definitely lacking interest in customer service) The John...

Nice room with all normal amenities found in a regular hotel room. If you don't like to go rustic (tent, cabin or camp style accommodations) then this will keep you smiling. Because of the location the ONLY internet or cell phone service available is Verizon. (My AT&T phone never had any bars). Good proximity to General Grant park and Giant...

I know that doesn't sound brilliant but it wasn't anything special as a hotel. You might have a more special experience by booking a cabin but we stayed in the main lodge. The location is good being near the General Grant tree and there is a viewpoint at panorama point up a little road behind the lodge which gives you...
