The room and bed were clean, new and very comfortable. The shower was clean and had plenty of towels. We have lodged at the cabins in the past and the lodge is the way to go. It has rustic charm with all the amenities that make it a vacation.

Our room was very comfortable, clean, and large compared to other hotels. It is very convenient because it is near the trails to the Sequoia Trees (which I why it put it as "near the city center". A microwave would be a great addition, but that's the only recommendation.

With the wooden furniture and arboreal setting, this feels like getting back to nature without the discomfort of camping. Pleasantly furnished rooms -although the fairly recent addition of TVs in the rooms is a step in the wrong direction- with a communal porch and rocking chairs on each floor as well as a large shared sitting room around a fireplace... Quiet, in the middle of the forrest, rooms very nice. Check-In was a bit confusing, because it was not in the Hotel directly. Its like a big Chalet, without Restaurant, bar or something else. WLAN only in the Lobby.

Clean respectful natural setting that can't be beat. The in-park transportation was reasonably available for the number of visitors present. The redwoods are truly Nature at her best. Met many fine people from all around the world. Just the best.

Conveniently located in a beautiful setting. Good base of operation for exploring the National Park. Staff was very caring and courteous. Encountered one problem with room which was immediately rectified. Staff went above and beyond call of duty.Would stay here again.

Stayed for two nights at the end of July having missed out on booking a cabin even when booked 10 months in advance. In hindsight, would chose the lodge next time as well. Very large rooms, very clean and well maintained. Very quite location but if you have noisy neighbours above you, you might be disturbed by the creaking wooden... More

The lodge itself is very nice, rustic, but with good standard rooms. The lodge itself has no staffing and limited public areas, all the staff and resturant etc. are at the visitor centre a few minutes walk away. Rooms have either a view of trees or the car park, so ask for the former at checkin (unless you are a... More

The lodge was just a basic room with 2 queen beds and a private bath. Beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was very small, and the water pressure was awful in the shower. Check in and out was fast, and the people were very friendly and helpful, we needed an extra cot for our grandson, and it was in the... More

This was a nice place to stay right in the park. Our room had no air conditioning so was warm. There was a fan but not much help. Wi fi only in the general gathering area which was fine for us. Check in is over at the restaurant / store so go there first. The restaurant was good but only... More
