With a family of 5, Creekside cabin was great for us for a 2 night stay. Really nice, cute, comfortable. Zach took great care of us with firewood. Don't miss the pies at the restaurant! This was our favorite stop at Sequoia and Yosemite parks. Uncrowded and great hikes nearby. The twisty road wasn't a problem! I wouldn't want to...

Don t expect fancy lodging here. A "cabin" is as promised a cabin... isolation and wooden walls don't rhyme. The experience is nevertheless thrilling and much appreciated, as a semi-pionneer like dwelling for a few days. Overall staff is friendly (special thought for Zach/the monocycle crazy guy) though not necessarily abundant in attentions and warmness. Only downside is: the PRICE....

We stayed in the White Chief chalet for 3 nights. The cabin is well appointed with kitchen, bathroom, shower, three bedrooms and more. Nothing rustic about this place really. This was an easy transition from LA life. We filled the refrigerator and cooked dinner most nights. We enjoyed a fire outside the cabin on a couple of nights. The three...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights as part of an 8 week roadtrip around the West. This was one of our absolute favorite places we have stayed. It is utterly charming but also clean, comfortable, and supremely beautiful. We booked the Honeymoon cabin, which is one of the more affordable historic cabins. It was GREAT. It was...

Just stayed with my husband for 4 days to celebrate my 65th birthday. We have been there before and always enjoyed it. Delighted by the newly remodeled women's room with nice new clean showers. There are 3 classes of cabins and you get what you pay for, I love the less expensive "historic" cabins. You can hike, or whatever all...

I visited the little restaurant in Silver City last week on the way home from a camping trip at Cold Springs Campground. This was the second time I've been to the restaurant. I must say, the pie is wonderful. I also had a bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato (BLAT) sandwich, which was good. The unsweetened iced tea had notes of...

My wife and I visited Silver City this weekend and absolutely loved it! We enjoyed exploring the nearby wilderness in Mineral King, especially the river, which was so refreshing. We also spent time at the Silver City Resort restaurant eating on their balcony in the sun. We both had the "Gourmet Mountain Burger" and a beer, and the delicious homemade...

The staff is so hospitable and the lodging is perfectly situated for several beautiful hikes in the Sequoia wilderness. Be sure to bring food/supplies as the store carries very little. Can't wait to return!

We fell in love with the Mineral King area, so much so that I proposed in the MK Valley. We rented one of the historical cabins, specifically the honeymoon cabin. The historical cabins are rustic. We literally used a rock to keep the front door closed. Be prepared to light propane lamps for light. The cabin itself is drafty and...

Room is filled with mosquitos and bugs. Staff need to maintain the cleanliness. Location is OK. But not really worth going 5 hours from bay area and spending 1 hour in long windy road. Hackett meadow trail is good along with nice stream next to the cabin.
