Our family was camping at the nearby campground and we saw that a big storm was coming through. We didn't want to have to pack up wet stuff so we decided to stay at the lodge. We were greeted by a friendly front desk attendant...More

We have stayed here before and choose to come here BECAUSE it is so rustic. If you want a boutique hotel this isn't for you. However if you want no fuss, comfy, clean rooms this is worth the ride. You are coming for everything outside...More

Sorry for the late response. The hotel rooms or non-main lodge mostly face the woods. Still pretty though. If you want a valley view, you should stay in the mail lodge. I love those old rooms anyway. Do not expect modern amenities. The rooms are about in the original condition when the place was built. No A/C, small showers or tub, rustic, but I love it. Hope this helps.
