My husband and I stayed at Zion Ponderosa on 5-27-2015. I will preface by saying my husband and I are frequent campers and have never had such a poor experience. We paid for a reserved campsite ahead of time. When we arrived, we checked-in without any issue around 7pm, before the deadline to check-in. When we drove to our site...

Zion Ponderosa Ranch is ok to stay at. There are some good things and some bad things. Below is a quick summary Location: 50 minutes from the Zion visitor center and the more popular hikes. You drive through the park to get to the visitor center. It's beautiful but a little inconvenient. Camping: It was nice that some of our...

We had two families stay at the Zion Ponderosa in April of this year. This was our second stay. Our first time we stayed in a lovely cabin and most recently we brought our own tents. This is a perfect place for families. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the location is a short and very beautiful drive to...

This place has the best manager in the world, Michael Kane. Busiest weekend of the year (Mem Day) but couldn't have been more relaxed and professional. Same applied to his staff. Saved our rears! My group went there to get water (we were camping in the park; the spring was dry) and a warm dinner. We got caught in the...

Staying here provides a decent value, especially since it is 15 minutes from the east entrance of Zion National Park. The chain hotels are going to be at least 45 minutes away in the closest town. Wi-Fi is basically only available in the cafe and lobby areas. Cell phone data service is available throughout the camp. The restaurant is overpriced...

We went to Zion Ponderosa for the first time five years ago, and have visited EVERY YEAR ever since! We are three families that now take an annual trip with all of our kids! We all look forward to the trip and get excited to hike, zip line, ride ATV's, mini-golf, swim, and the list goes on and on! The...

We tent camped at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort at the end of May. $11 per person per night. Weather was warm during the day (80F or 25c), pretty cool (46-50F or 7-8c at overnight). Location is 7 miles from the East entrance of the national park. Front desk and pool staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small...

We stayed in a Cowboy Cabin. $75 a night for a private cabin w/queen bunk beds. Communal showers. If you've stayed at Curry Village in Yosemite, this is several steps up. And it includes breakfast. All in all a great bargain. PRO: Good location, great staff, comfortable rooms, decent dining. Great pool, mini golf and other family friendly activities. CON:...

We stayed in a campsite at Zion Ponderosa this past weekend and absolutely loved it. Michael the GM was so kind and you can tell he truly cares about his guests. The bathrooms and showers were clean and some of the nicest I've seen at any campgrounds. The amenities definitely put this resort over the top. It absolutely exceeded our...

We booked 2 nights in Cowboy Wagon #1 over Memorial Day Weekend because all of the campsites were sold out near and in Zion. We paid $69 per night for essentially a wooden tent with mattresses in it. The price seems a little steep for what is essentially camping. The weather was rainy so it was really cold in the...
