Good location, nice food and awesome room with hot springs. Went there with my husband, easy to get street food or even you want some local restaurants. You can get river view in the bathroom. The only problem is the humidity. But it’s normal in...More
This was the most expensive hotel we booked for our trip this time. But we were given a decent clean room, with onsen tub and also breakfast and delicious dinner. Never had we gotten a place with half board included. It was special for us....More
Considering the price, it's a nice little retreat for 1 night. The staff is very friendly, dinner was great (western style breakfast was pretty bad though, sorry), cedar tub in the room was a nice touch, loved the traditional style bath house, excellent massage, and...More
For a start the packages need to be modified to give visitors the option of having dinner or not. As eateries are just downstairs and the food provided is not that much better the hotel should allow customers a discount if they want to forgo...More
We chose this hotel based on its location and although it was a bit of a splurge for us, it could not be beat. There may be more affordable places in the area, but you get amazing views from the balcony and your own hot...More

The Bitan Scenic Area with its beautiful mountains and rivers was one of the eight sceneries of Taiwan earlier on and was reputed as the “little red cliff” due to its steep cliffs on the west bank. If you enjoy wandering through this area by bike, there are well established surrounding riverside cycling paths. One may also boat on Bitan in paddle boats which are also quite pleasant. If you are tired and would like to
take some rest, why not set foot in feature restaurants on the east bank and comfort your soul with great food and beautiful scenery with an air of romance. The neighboring Wulai is one of the few districts in Northern Taiwan with indigenous culture. You can visit the Atayal Museum for the history and culture of indigenous people, or go for an in-depth indigenous tribal life experience and enjoy unique totems and architecture. The area is famous for its hot springs and cherry blossoms. Visit in spring to bask in the color of cherry blossoms, and experience hot springs in winter to warm the body and heart. Don’t miss the old street if you enjoy shopping and buying. If you want to stand closer to nature, the different appearance of Wulai Waterfall from time to time from trickling to overwhelming will capture your heart.
