Full Moon Spa was a highlight of our visit to Taiwan. We booked in advance and our stay included a room with hot spring bath as well as half board. Hotel is very easy to find as you leave the bus from Taipei, you just keep going straight up towards town, cross the bridge and it's up the steps on... More

Came in a group of 14(4 families), chartered a mini bus to wulai for a night's stay.It was a nicely decorated place with a lot of wooden fittings, and seems the place was run by mainly middle age ladies. The main attraction was the semi outdoor dining area that overlook a hill and flowing river, with fresh air all around.... More

The room views were amazing, hospitality was great. Food was also tasty with a variety of choices. Even better was the streets below the hotel, kinda quiet but really nice to walk around compared to the bustling life back in Taipei. Just a tip, when given the choice for breakfast, go with the Chinese option.

If you are looking for a traditional stay with private hot spring then this is it. Beautiful views and affordable, the small street right outside is filled with fruits and traditional snacks. Breakfast and dinner is also included for our stay, the Chinese option taste great. The downside, a lot of bugs like mosquitoes, moths and occasionally, cockroaches, I understand... More

Love the private hot spring. Although this hotel slightly old, fall in love with the architectural design. Located next to Wulai Old Street. Just a step away from almost everything needed. Half-board provided.

We booked the Deluxe Quartet Room for 4 adult and 1 kid, the room is very spacious with the hot spring in room as well. The room seems a bit old already and the facilities are very basic. The room comes with the public hot spring and 2 meals (dinner & breakfast), the meals are excellent, very delicious and home... More

Compare the price, good place to take a break from city life. They provide a dinner and breakfast which is proper q'ty to eat since you've much had in laojie! full! Also you can enjoy the hot spring in the room, just call to #9 and ask "hot water, please.". I've enjoyed 2 time for 1 night.

Room is old, but it is clean. Food is fair and service is excellent. Need to replace new fridge, hair dryer, and slippers (or use deposable pair). I want to try the massage, but pricing is a bit high. Overall is good and worth to go again.

When we check into the hotel, the staff here show attitude. The room they give us is like inside the hunted house. The spa inside the room is full of fly and spider webs. When we requested to change to a better room. The staff said " most of the double room is like that, as there is no cancel... More

“Check both the 'cheap' and the expensive rooms even if they say that they only have expensive rooms with a view. The more expensive rooms are just a bit nicer and the good view is actually only available from the restaurant anyway. The condition of the rooms very a bit, so if you are shown a room, request to have just that room.”
