Love this place again. Even though the spaces are cramped Even though the summer season crazies had started piling in. Love the new showers and new road. Hate the camp store and laundry are closed. Hate that the ferry is put on back burner. It doesn't matter THIS IS THE GULF AT ITS BEST.

We stayed in loop A Site #7, great deep site lots of tree coverage & privacy. Bathrooms/showers were clean, everything was within walking distance. Loop A has a beach access right across the street. Don’t forget the fort lots of stuff to see & they do some kind of tour on most days. We will be back!! We also liked...

It's a very long road to the campground doing 25 mph due to migrating birds nesting but the scenery is spectacular! Campground is surrounded by nature trails, native plants and birdwatching plentiful! New, large clean bathhouses very close by. Beach in walking distance but better if you bring bicycles. White, soft sand beaches are gorgeous and have bathrooms. Blue angels...

Wonderful campground, spacious sites with easy back in. Loop A has more shade trees and is smaller than the other loops, but was my favorite. We stayed in loop A and in loop C. The beach is beautiful, with the whitest sand I've ever seen.

This is campground located within the Gulf islands National Seashore on Santa Rosa Island. You travel through Pensacola Beach west to Fort Pickens State Park. It is a slow, fairly long drive on a well paved road as you traverse the natural dune areas with speed restrictions. Reservations need to be made in advance. Park Ranger Staff at check-in were...

This was our first time camping at Ft Pickens which also was our first national park experience as well. We loved it. The check in process was super fast. We stayed in Loop A in site 37. This site had zero shade however we had a Clam screen tent so we were ok and it was very breezy and not...

I passed this place over when researching places to stay because it looked like an RV parking lot. But when our other plans fell through, we came here and I was glad we did. Yes, it is crowded but it was fun to see everyone enjoying themselves - kids playing, dogs walking, mom and dad grilling, campfires. Everyone was respectful...

We traveled 13hrs and had. Agreat experience at this camp site. Very friendly campers. I felt safe with my kids. The showers and bathrooms were new and nice. We enjoyed our stay. All of the campers followed the 10pm quiet rule! Not too far from the beach. Only downside is the camp store is closed and you have to drive...

Great facility, good trip. The campground and park are well maintained. The sites were a bit short, and we had to park our vehicle away from our site. The camp store and laundry seemed to be permanently closed.

The beach is gorgeous with many easy accesses. If perhaps the beach side is too windy, the sound is a great place to spend the day. We enjoyed observing the many osprey in and around their nests surrounding the campground. The new bathhouses/restrooms were so comfortable. The town of Gulfbreeze is a great place for restaurants if desired. Fantastic experience...
