We are a new resort located along the South China Sea in Kampong Sedili Kechil, Kota Tinggi Johor, Malaysia. 3 types of accommodation: 'A' Frame Chalets (5 units), The Inn (18 rooms) and Longhouse (6 rooms). All our rooms are en-suite except for the longhouse which shares 3 common toilets. All the rooms are air conditioned. A hall for 150 pax and restaurant 150 pax. Sea view.
It is very good for a quiet day at the seaside especially during weekdays. Some litterings were on the beach though. If you are lucky ,you could have a room with tv with quite a number of channels. Free wifi in te room. There is a small shop at the reception. Nearby, there is a new horseshoe crab breeding centre.

Stayed for a night. Still a new resort so there's not much activities. Resort is partly belongs to singaporean family. Place is a veey chillout place. Breathtaking view and weather! Loving the chill plc. Stayed in the Inn. Basic n Reasonable room. Dun expect more pls cos i find that it's alrdy quite cheap. Most expensive room abt rm$180 per night. Had nice lamp chop n chicken chop for dinner. Chicken chop only at rm9.90. Lamp chop 19.90. Breakfaat is ala carte but still good n cheap. Had rm6.50 & rm5.50 breakfast set. However the signage at the entrance was very confusing as it was not stated the actual resort name but belongs to the old resort. So i end up u-turning to find the resort at other places. After 1hr plus we couldnt find n call the resort for the direction. THEN we turn back to the same plc again.

Basically eveything is new. Love the view of the sea from the restaurant. They offer great food. Chicken chop for only RM5.90!! Less than SGD2.00...that's dirt cheap!! The management conveyed that they will build a pool soon. It will be great as they are affected by the monsoon. Anyway, service wise...Great!!

Went for a short gateway to the nearest fisherman's village with parents and siblings. Somehow due to unexpected and unsatisfactory conditions with the inn we booked earlier we end up to this small yet cosy Inn. The Inn was small yet cosy. It has 3 types of accommodations i.e hotel room, chalet and dormitory. Due to the last minute plan, we end up in the 4 hotel rooms type which are still available. Each room have 1 double bed and single bed and bathroom en-suite, a small cupboard for you to hang your clothes. The blanket provided was not sufficient enough to warm you up at night and a little bit too small for normal adult. Towels and shower gel and soap are provided like the standard hotel. Cleanliness wise is OK but not to expect too much. No kettle or coffee making facilities but at the entrance to the walkway to the rooms , they provided a free flow of hot and cold water dispenser.
BBQ pits are available for rental upon request but only available for chalet type of accommodation. But they do provide 2 BBQ pits at the beach front for other inhouse guests usage and its based on first come first serve basis. The folded table and chairs for BBQ activity are also available for rental.
This Inn is suitable for wedding reception and group or family getaway. Not much activity can be done except BBQ and kids playing at the beach. The beach is just a walking distance and you may see it from your chalet. The scenery is quite nice and you can bring your kids to play at the beach if weather permits. No swimming pool.
There's no coffee house running 24 hours or Ala cart type of order but you may order in advance should you come in a big group ( i guess they order from outside catering). Do bear in mind, its a bit difficult to find eateries area or stall , the nearest is about 20 km away and its not worthwhile. Do come with rations when you have kids with you. Remember, Its a small fishermen village.
We enjoyed our short stay here with the BBQ at night.

There is a dearth shortage of decent hotels in the Sedili/Jasons Bay vicinity. SIR sort of fills that gap offering a relatively new (2.5 yrs) resort in the sea of has been resorts of yesteryear.
Located at Sedili Kechil, its nested in a v quiet spot with nothing around it. Which is a gd thing if tranquility is what you are after.
Its clean but basic, and for its price, value is a bit wanting. Rooms hv no wifi (yes I repeat no wifi), no TV, no kettle, no fridge, not even pictures and it has as much character as a hospital room in Russia.
The resort has no pool, no gym, no library, no cafe but a very limited restaurant that thankfully serves decent food.
The staff are friendly but not well trained in the finer art of customer service and satisfaction eg it was pouring rain n I asked for an umbrella, answer was dont have. All broken! Hello?
SIR has so much potential and in need of skilled and professional hospitality staff training.
I like them to succeed as they have a good thing going for them...
If they can improve their facilities, train staff to truly put customers welfare at the forefront and yes, get a decent website up, SIR can rival even the big boys 40km south in Desaru.
All the best SIR and I hope to visit again soon if standards improve.
