The place was poorly heated. There were no heaters at all in the bathrooms, the radiators in rooms were lukewarm. No internet in the rooms and a poor connection in the lobby. We booked a hall for a media event but in it, the wifi didn't work at all, we had to move to one of the suites. Cigarette smoke...

Stayed at the Argishti with a group doing volunteer work in the Vanadzor area. Had a large room that slept 3, with private bath and dining area. I would not describe the beds as comfortable, rather a little more like sleeping on a bed of potatoes (thankfully, small ones). Generally clean, but poorly maintained facility. Shower basin in our room...

This hotel is a disgrace to the lovely people and city of Vanatzor. The facility itself is adequate, not luxurious by Armenian standards ( bathrooms flood whenever you attempt a shower). My warning refers to the lack of security in this hotel. Stayed at this hotel in Jue 2013 with a group doing volunteer work in the area. The only...

We stayed here for one night after a rugged night in the mountains and really needed a bit of "luxury". The beds were hard, the room was freezing, the shower didnt drain so the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower, and the restaurant was closed. The breakfast that we were told was included in our room price apparently...

As previous reviewers mentionned, the hotel is a little bit outside the centre of the city. It is a lovely old house that's undergone some serious upgrading to become a hotel. The corridors are wide and the public spaces are a mixture of old Russia and some attempts at a little bit of bling. The rooms are quite large and...

After having stayed in several especially grungy hostels, I decided to splurge on Vanadzor's "upscale" hotel, the Argishti. It's set aside a little bit from the center of town, but still an easy walk to all of the town's attractions. When I first found the hotel, I was a little disconcerted by how empty it seemed. I had to wander...

The hotel is a modern building, erected in 2002 and it contains 22 rooms. It has a restaurant (open only at certain times), one business room, and a sauna (that I did not see or look for). The hotel is in a nice, quiet part of the city, within walking distance to the main street of Vanadzor City. Overall, the...

“Avoid ground floor because of the noise. Ask for a non-smoking room, they don't have any but they will try to air one a bit before you get there. Tell them in advance you want proper heating. Do not eat at the hotel.”
