Had a one night break to do Xmas shopping and to celebrate my dads birthday, what can I say, 10 out of 10 excellent food, both evening and breakfast, the rooms are decorated to an extremely high standard and are spotlessly clean, nice touches include a DVD player, The staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed...

Between us we had the venison and the pork. They were both outstanding and the jus that came with each was quite exceptional. Service was excellent and caring. The deserts were different and very tasty. If you are in the area do not miss this one

I recently visited The Kings Arms for dinner with a friend. It was so cosy in there although an open plan layout. We sat in the restaurant just off the bar and both ordered salmon fishcakes. They were absolutely delicious and I would thoroughly recommend!! It comes with creamy tarragon sauce without being too rich. All I would say is...

Attractive restaurant and welcoming staff made this a great choice for taking our friends for lunch. There was an extensive menu and we all had something different. Ham hock terrine, home cured hot smoked salmon and pan seared red mullet were all tasty. They have a josper oven so some meats have a delicious charcoal taste. The chimi churri chicken...

The manager was welcoming, hospitable and very helpful. Stayed for two weeks, so was allocated different rooms each week, both were well appointed, clean with spacious shower rooms. Breakfast was freshly cooked and clearly benefitted from locally sourced ingredients. The evening menu was varied and all the food I tried was flavoursome and high quality. Would definitely stay again.

Went for lunch on Friday and once again was delighted with the food. Really nice to have such a varied menu which is never the same unlike so many other local establishments. Professional service and a nice ambience. Thank you!

We were in a big group, but Tony and his staff looked after us all so well. The food, both in the evening and in the morning, cannot be faulted. The atmosphere, one of relaxed enjoyment, pervades everywhere. People travel from other villages and towns to eat and drink here, and I can see why. It has the awesome village...
