We were treated like Royalty. From the flexibility of the staff, the comfort and neatness of the accommodation to sumptuous meals served in a homely and private kitchen. Wow!! You blew our minds away! Can anyone do any better? I wonder! For us your efficient and meticulous customer care does far better than grins undeserved elsewhere. Well done, hope to...

Lovely little place to stay. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The restaurant is acceptable but the biggest selling point is that everyone knows the place and it is easy to get to. Negative: Drunk lodgers might disrupt you when arriving but this is a gamble everywhere. Highly recommended either way.

We had such a wonderful stay at Vergelegen in Kakamas. We were looking for 2-bedroom accommodation at a lodge in Kakamas for our family of 4 (2 kids). At best we were hoping for 2 rooms with an inter-leading door. What we got was a stunning villa - 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, outside patio with braai, fully equiped, luxury gorgeousness....

When on route to the Namaqualand flowers we have to sleep over and we use Vergelegen in Kakamas. This is a great stop over on route to Springbok town and the guesthouse is on the N14 route and close to the road. This accommodation comes with well stocked rooms and free wi-fi with a restaurant on your doorstep. My guests...

We stop for lunch. Friendly staff received us and showed us to our table outside. What a beautiful well maintained place this is. I wouldn't mind staying over here sometime. The waiter was honest about their house specialities and recommended their best sellers. Whilst the food was ok'ish we were sold the deep fried lightly crumbed fillet steak (one of...

What a delight to arrive at this upmarket establishment. Staff made us feel at home and even took us to our rooms and showed us the facilities. Had pre dinner drinks in the beautiful bar and then dinner . We could choose from 3 different dining areas. The food was to die for. I highly recommend this establishment.

It is not always easy to find upmarket accommodation in the country, this guesthouse is above average. The rooms are beautiful, well decorated, there is wifi in the rooms as well. We had supper and breakfast and the food was exceptional, well prepared and plated. The biltong soup is excellent as a starter. The service was very friendly and our...

Excellent restaurant to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Lovely and friendly service and dishes well prepared, tasty and more than enough. a Playground for the little ones and enough space for bigger groups. Had lunch on a Saturday as well but remember that the restaurant itself is closed on a Saturday but the Bistro serves wonderful light lunches and salads....
