We didnt particulary have any big issues whilst we were here the place is just outdated and ugly. We got a room with an air con and private bathroom for 2 nights. Everything was ok, the air con was great however it did stop quite often. The room was very basic and outdated. Bathroom small and ok water pressure. The...

Located a short walk from the ferry dock (5 mins with packs), this is great place to stay. We had a private room with bathroom - it was clean and the shower had good pressure. AC was included which was a nice touch. The restaurant attached serves up a good variety of quality food at reasonable prices and the beer...

This hostel is a great backpacker hangout. There are always plenty of people around, great place to meet other travellers. It is pretty noisy at night as the bar/restaurant area flows into the hostel common space. There are a few non guests hanging about in this area which I didn't feel too comfortable about. I had a private room which...

Stayed here last week for two nights. Dorms are cool at night with many fans. Lockers available to secure possessions- since there are a lot of people around, bring a lock and use them. Had my towel nicked while there- staff offered to let me use one of theirs, very kind. Nice and social bar/restaurant on site. Filtered and bottled...

We got recommended this hostel by some friends that had visited Ometepe Islands and stayed here. However... We were in Ometepe for 2 days and it's hard to get to the main island where most people go if you are looking for fun and partying. The location of this hostel is not ideal for that as there is not really...

This place is perfectly located in town, just a few blocks from the port/bus stop. The dorm is huge but it was mostly empty when I was there so didn't feel loud/crowded. The beds aren't too close together anyway. The bed was comfortable, especially considering the price! Only $5.50/night seemed to be the best on offer in Moyogalpa. The room...

Really nice hostel with good food, cheap dorms ($5 per night) and the cheapest beers I have found in Nicaragua so far. Nice place in the backyard with hammocks to relax. The hostel is located in the center of Moyogalpa which is the cheapest place (for food, renting a motorbike/scooter and hostel) on the island. From Moyogalpa you can easily...

We ended up in moyogalpa for a night because there were no more boats going back to the mainland. The room was simple, but lovely. They had yummy smoothies. Unfortunately the bar across the street was right outside our window and played music very very loudly until very late at night but obviously this was out of their control. The...

Spent 1 night in the dorms. Nice restaurant area and cheap meals/beers at the bar. They played loud music until about 23.30 for no reason and a drunk guest lurched all over the shared bathroom. Beware of bed bugs! I didn't find any in my bed or had any bites, but a girl I was traveling with who slept across...

The vibe of the bar and restaurant is very inviting and chill, we had a big group of 8 and there were big tables we could all fit at. The waiters were a little slow and not very attentive, but got the job done. There were lots of options for all eaters. The kitchen is ran by native women, you...

We are a Backpacker-friendly hostel with Bar and Restaurant. Our goal is to provide a great service and friendly environment to everyone who enters Hospedaje Central. To accomplish that::: We have hand-crafted our restaurant's menu, offering a broad range of delicious dishes - from local cuisine to global classics; you're bound to find something you enjoy. (People love our Batidos[smoothies] too):: Our Bar is stocked with the best local liquors and a variety of world favorites as well. If you're not feeling the high-end alcohol, we also have a nice selection of "Cheap and Dirty" brews that won't be too heavy on your wallet. There are also delicious mixed drinks available for those who want to try out the local fruit concoctions. And of course, great music. Whichever type of fun you want, we can help you get there.:: If you aren't into eating, or drinking, we enjoy helping our guests plan their adventures. We have great contacts around the island to help you get what you want. Whether its traveling and making new reservations on Maderas, organizing transport, renting motorcycles or horses, simply giving directions to great beach locations or helping you Trek-Up-The-Ultimate-Volcano: Conception - We can take care of it for you.:: And most of all, if you're just into relaxing, we built an entire hostel around that concept. We have great sitting areas throughout the area, a nice garden under the sun, a reading friendly courtyard, lots of hammocks to swing in, private rooms for secluded time, and dorm rooms for the fun and friendly types. We filled the walls with paintings and culture for you to look at when you don't have a good book, and we're building a small library for you to find that good book afterwards. Overall, its a great place to hang out, people tell us all the time, and we're happy to provide this atmosphere for those who seek it.:: And for those who live on the cloud, we also have THE INTERNET. (free wifi included) We hope this helps you. Enjoy Nicaragua!-Team Hospedaje Central(El Indio Viejo) P.S.
