Delightful. Comfortable and welcoming. Well-stocked cottage with a number of nice touches which you wouldn’t always find. With the lovely views, self-catering options and the fire, we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere. We look forward to coming back again. Many thanks to Sue and Jonathan for providing a great retreat.
This is a highly recommended stay. It is a beautifully well appointed cottage set in a rural setting. The location is surrounded by birdlife and foliage. The owners have gone to an extra level to cater for guests. It is very clean and provides inspiration for both a romantic getaway or artists seeking solace to inspire themselves. There is plenty to do around the local area including Ravenbourne National Park and exploring local townships. The owners were friendly and regarded privacy. The bed was next level, so comfortable !!! Breakfast was supplied. There was a fridge, microwave, small skillet, basin and rainfall shower. One of our best memories was being able to feed the local parrots from the balcony whilst having a morning coffee. The owners have created something special here. We spent two nights here and left feeling relaxed and distressed. It's places like this, that makes you realise whats important in life. Parking is located next to the cabin. Highly recommended stay with all creature comforts and more..…
Stayed for three nights could have stayed forever in this beautifully appointed peacful cottage surrounded by bird life! Hosts were helpful and had provided everything. Sue is a Bowen therapist so we were able to book in for a session at the property which was magic! Loved our stay!
Cute little cottage surrounded by trees and abundant bird life. The cottage is well contained. The hosts Jonathan and Sue have done a great job here we would recommend a stay here. We will be returning in the cooler months to try out the fire. Jack, Peggie and Missy.
Time out; that’s what we needed and this was just the spot for that short break. The peace of lying in bed reading while the fire crackled and the smell of pancakes cooking for breakfast are two of the many ways we relaxed. As well as exploring local national parks we visited the Crows Nest Cordial Factory. At the cottage we saw Pale Faced Rosellas, King Parrots, Finches & Top knot pigeons come in for treats at the clever bird feeder and appreciated the binoculars and bird books for guests to use. Thoughtful decorating and simple pantry supplies made our stay memorable. Would like to come back when the weather is a little more friendly, but in hindsight we had to rest and if the weather was fine we probably would not have done that very well.
