The rooms here are extremely well designed and comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is also very good value. Margaret is very helpful and we enjoyed walking around their extremely productive fruit farm. The pool is also very welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Very handy for Addo where we saw 300 elephants at a waterhole. Not impressed by Schotia (see my review)...

We stayed for two nights in order to visit Addo and Scotia Game Parks. The B and B is part of a Citrus fruit farm which is also interesting to learn about. A family concern that operates with great efficiency. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the chance to chat about life in the Eastern Cape with the...

Due to a very poor start in Port Elizabeth we headed straight to our accommodation in Addo about 5 hours earlier than check in. Margaret was very understanding and allowed us to sun bathe and relax by the pool after travelling for 36 hours. Breakfast was amazing everyday. We were about 10 km from Addo National Park and Margaret also...

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Addo Elephant Park, which is very close by. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is cooked to order and is huge, by far one of the best breakfasts we have had at a B&B. The family are extremely friendly and helpful.

I had made a mistake with our dates for staying in the Addo park, so we made a last minute booking with Margaret at Bydand. I was calling with an international cell so she was quite accommodating and understanding with getting minimum details from me before we arrived. She recommended a family unit for us which was quite comfortable for...

The rooms were comfortable, impeccably clean, neat and of excellent quality with regards to space and the south african feel. Our host, Margaret made us feel so welcome with no request being too...

We spent a night at Byband and it was a thoroughly enjoyable time. We were a family of 5 and Margaret arranged the appropriate room for us. The room was excellent - beautiful wood floors, large open space and a full french door overlooking the orange orchards. The property itself is so beautiful and relaxing - next to a small...

We chose Bydand B&B, a working citrus farm, as it was close to Addo. Our room was clean and spacious. We all slept like logs as it was soooooo quiet! Breakfast was very nice and I particularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice made with the farm's oranges. The wi-fi was fast. All in all we had a very pleasant stay...
