We had a lovely holiday! Nice room, beautiful view, great service, very kind people. The hostess even made a birthdaycake for our one year old. In the evening we enjoyed a very good dinner. It was lovely!

Beautiful finca with super hosts. Fantastic dinners in the evening (deserves definitely a mention in michelin's guide). The fact that it is more in the country gives a nature feeling, the view on the mountains is spectaculair, and offcourse not so touristic. Yet only 15 minutes drive to a lovely beach in Vilajoyosa with the coloured houses. The rooms are... More

The hotel, the location in the country side was beautiful. Excellent service and very nice diners. We would really recommend this place! We found it even more beautiful then the pictures on internet. Also with small children it's a good place to stay. The weather in April was mixed but we had moments with lot's of sun. It's very cheap... More

We've just returned home from 4 fantastic nights at the Finca el Tossal. It's a beautiful, stylish retreat set amongst orange groves high above Altea. We were warmly welcomed by Sonia and Thorsten and by stunning views over the hills and out to the Med. Sonia prepared amazing meals in the evenings and we were greeted every morning with a... More

This has been a long overdue review! We went there last year Easter 2015, and spent a few nights in Finca! It was such a gorgeous place up in the mountain!!! The host was great, and the chef, Lucius, always come up with creative yet delicious dinner every night!!!! Breakfast has lots of varieties, such as cheese and salad and... More

To be honest, arriving late at night is not a wise choice. El Tossal is off the beaten track and only a steap climb on an unfriendly one vehicle wide bumpy road will get you there. Once arrived the welcome was ever so friendly. Suitcases were carried in by the owner and even dinner was possible at this late hour.... More

Nestled in the foothills of the Costa Blanca you can find this little oasis of calm with stunning views, comfortable rooms, fantastic details and a world class kitchen. This sort of place deserves every compliment!

Searching for a "special Place" with luxury connotations with price-worthiness, we found this... ...place. The road getting there is "dubious", and getting even worse as the broad asphalt road changes into a narrow concrete cracked road - "is this really right?" - and YES! The road literally ends in a Italian mansion with terraces, a 10(?)meter pool, carefully planned surroundings... More
